maybe we will finally see someone keep their campaign promises. these dealers are long overdue for justice. they have helped too many people to an early grave already. people have died right at the dealers houses on more than one occasion and they still get by with selling. several have died shortly after leaving the dealers and led to the death of other innocent people.. this has to stop soon. please voice your opinion and request that these people finally get what they deserve ! you can buy anything you want in whitley county, cocaine, crack, meth, heroin, any type of pill and most dealers will even sell you the needles to shoot up with. we must have help,i dont want to lose my children to these people as so many already have.

thats what i believe and i am hoping for .if it happens, then he kept his word like he said. some of these will have to be a strong case to put them away for a good while. harrell will indict these people. i look for them to actually serve some time.the days of running to r.r. with 20,000 and it all disappears might be over for awhile. i hope to see our new sheriff on tv before long discussing around 50-75 drug roundup.i fully support him and his staff. i think we will see some big changes very soon.

Well, I like the postive attitude of you folks posting here. I know several who have been selling WFO (Wide Flipping Open) for years now. It is time for them to STOP!

I have seen so many beautiful young people's photos in the obits lately. More will die if these drug pushers are not stopped. We need to get to more of the big time dealers and not just the little ones.

Lives are being lost and families totally destroyed by these drug dealers. They do not give a damn. It is time for the people of Whitley County to put the pressure on the local law enforcement officers to do something about it!!

I am interested in what the LEADER of this whole drug conspiracy, the priviledged officer of the law, Brad Nighbert, will receive at his sentencing. Just read on the other thread his sentencing has apparently been delayed until June.

What do you people of Whitley County think he deserves to receive???

people r going to do drugs no matter what, there will always b drug dealers in Whitley Co. I think charges need to be filed against the mothers that still use drugs when they are preg. Too many babies are being taken from their mothers in the hospital and put in state custody. Why not put those people in jail for child endangerment or something. I meen come on people if you want to ruin your lives by all means go ahead but leave the babies and children out of it.

It should be double the usual punishment, because he wore a badge and abused the power behind it.

I agree with you totally! I am afraid he has ratted so many others out and worked out a plea bargain with the officials that he will receive a light sentence though. I think he ought to get at least 20 years and a huge fine myself. Even if he gets 20 years he will never serve all of it.

I know 2 places in Nashville they need to check out. 1. Tennessee WELLNESS CENTER 4651 Nolensville, pk. Nashville. 2. Assend Medical Group 2001 Charlotte Avenue suite 205 Nashville TN. several from here go to both places.

its all a big show! instead of busting these so called drug dealers, they could simply clean up the streets of williamsburg by picking up a phone. Why dont our wonderful police department when answering calls that reports of alleged drug abuse and use occur, they use their wonderful kasper system to find their prescription info, and report to their doctors the alleged abuse. To my knowledge, mere suspicion of drug use and abuse are means of discontinuing care by the physician.
Simply put, CALL AND REPORT THESE DRUG ABUSERS DOCTOR, AND REPORT THE POTENTIAL ABUSE, AND THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROBLEM IN WILLIAMSBURG.
As for worrying about HIPAA with Kasper reports. They violate federal law all the time to illegally obtain citizens prescription information, why stop now? At least you will not have to worry about tieing up the court system with individuals who cannot even pay their bill from month to month.

honestly peopole with the economy in this area what do you expect. Seriosly marijuana was the main cash crop in Kentucky. With out drugs bringing money in to the area you might as well shut Williamsburg down. Yeah people are hurting themselves but the dealers arent holding guns to their heads making them buy the stuff. As far as the BIG WIGS,they are the ones to blame for the simple fact they are the ones who are closing factories subleasing contract over seas/to mexicans, etc. How else are people suppose to keep the lights on and feed their kids.
