There's a lot of wonderful good people in Williamsburg. Unfortunately the jerks are the ones who get all the attention.

I know several good people in Williamsburg, is not any different than any other small town USA, you have dope dealers, corrupt officials,etc....

On Sundays, the people are either hung over or in church. Then the next day the ones that were in church are at the pharmacy getting their legally obtained 'drugs,' while the hungover ones are working regular meaningless jobs so that they can get drunk or high Saturday one more time.

People might say to this post, why are you defending the dope heads out there? Well I'll go ahead and ask you why you are defending the hypocrites out there that go to church on Sunday to feel better about their secret pill popping habit.

Williamsburg is a small college town that should have fun and excitement, but instead every day it feels like someone's uncle just died. No one can bring anything into this town because there are so many backhanded deals going on between the rich of the town, the mayor of the town, and the college board of trustees.

This town hardly has any nice sit down restaurants, there is no real clothing stores to go to other than Wal-Mart, and the mall is 80% empty because everyone goes somewhere else to enjoy themselves and spend their money. There is so much potential in this town all being wasted by rich, old, and conceited people.

Our town had an opportunity to get a distribution center for Walmart, but because of the local business people tried to dictate conditions to build it, Walmart told them no thanks, and moved it to a new location, This cost our small community 600 good paying jobs!!! These are the people who are held in high esteem by the towns people???

In what way did the people try to dictate the conditions to build it? Did they want:
....Above minimum wage for the people
....Health and dental insurance for the people
....A union
What was it that the citizens of Williamsburg did, that discouraged Walmart.
