The new restaurant in the mall is really nice and the food was excellent.

I am wondering if we ate at the same restaurant. It is country cooking right out of a can. I tried the buffet and was very disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day for the cook. I might try it again just to see if there is a difference the second time around.

My wife and I have ate there ONE time and I agree with you. The stuff on the buffet taste just like it was out of a can. Why can't a new restaurant have fresh stuff on the buffet? If i wanted some caned green beans I can eat at home...

My husband and I ate there once. The food was pretty good, but there were no desserts offered. A country buffet should at least have some peach cobbler or apple pie available for dessert. Also, it looked like the place had been completely redone inside and was super clean. I appreciated that, and will go back and give it another try based on cleanliness alone.

My husband and I ate there since it's Taste of Country and it was really good. I plan to go back. I liked the way it was cleaned up too.

I would personally suggest anyone who would like a good home cooked meal to go to there. I love the owners they are super sweet just a few minor tweeks in the service it will be perfect.
I like it

Have eaten there several times, and have enjoyed every thing that I have ordered...country-fried steak/gravy, hot ham n cheese sandwich, and the fried cat fish. Very clean, attentive waitresses. Good prices. Oh, and very good banana pudding, too.

Tty you must be mistaken this new place for shoney's of corbin. This place is very clean & i highly doubt you got food poisoned lmao. Instead of trying to bash a restaurant that the owners work so hard on trying to make it a great family oriented restaurant do something productive! Get a life! Thank you!:)

Do you seriously think every restaurant has or should have a garden out back? Lmao at the ignorance of some people.

My husband and I have ate there several times , in the beginning the food was mediocre, but every time we go it is better, I agree they desperately need a cake or cobbler or some type of desert on the bar, but try the turkey club with steak fries then get some roast beef gravy to dip the fries , maybe some chili cheese fries, yep the food is better every time we go

We had the fish one night. It was really good! BUT there was no tartar sauce. I was fine because I don't use the sauce but my husband does. I'd say whatever people ask for, they will get it.
