Your right, I guess in their safety briefs they will include, "and if you are thinking about murdering anyone don't do it." Good one man, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and show us how you would make it through even a day of command. Hopefully, when your Soldiers decide to go off the edge and commit a serious crime they consult with you first so that you can order them not to.

If you lived next to the base as long as I did you would understand a little better. It seems to me that the soldiers are poorly trained, poorly disciplined, lack respect and have endless amounts of free time on their hands to get into trouble. Years ago when I served free time was unheard of and we were always training, not to mention constant physical training. I do not see that in todays Army. Just my opinion but a great deal of the problems could be helped with some strong leadership and discipline.

nobody can control anybody.. If someone ends up dead that is the soldiers fault no the commander or captains, nobody. People do stuff for reasons we don't understand so for anybody has said that the commanders need to watch their soldiers better fuck you...the soldiers are trained to stand up for our country when its in jeapordy..back off...

my father was a green beret special forces who was wounded saving his fellow troops from a horse shoe ambush in veitnam. after recovering from being shot 10 times, they sent him to fort carson to finish his tour of duty. while he was there he witnessed some of the other soldiers killing blacks and poerterican soldiers. the commanders did nothing but say they were suicides. my father in fear said nothing until he got his leave and then told the newspaper in oregon about what is happening. when he returned he was arrested for treason, and put in the brig. a while later senitor bob packwood who got this story, looked into it and my father was set free and testified against these soldiers and commanders of the base. in oregon he was given a parade and as he was cheered and applaused he was also spat on by some. my father is a hero, he stuck up for what was right and risked his life to save others. so please don't talk bad about soldiers, because it is the blood of soldiers who gave us these rights we have today. but it makes me wonder what is going on at fort carson to be creating soldiers who end up doing horrid things. because it seems the problem has not stopped.
