Mayor Ballard's numbers dropping like a rock

Ballard's numbers are dropping like a rock. Don't get me wrong. I voted for the man. My Irvington neighbors and I were furious about our property tax bills and about rising crime in our part of town. Panhandlers. Deterioration of the buildings along Washington St. Business disinvesting from the east side. We blamed Peterson. We voted for Ballard even when nobody thought he had a chance. It was out of frustration. Now you can't find anyone in my neighborhood who would support Ballard. I think we expect Democrats to lose seats in the next election. Obama's coattails aren't what they were last time around. But Ballard has been such a disappointment. He has completely failed at this vacant building problem. Property tax assessments are a mess. The whole CIB fiasco. Where's the mayoral leadership? Republicans may gain in the next round, but no thanks to Ballard. He spends all his time reaching out to the black community and none supporting the real issues of his base. He might as well be a Carson.

The only numbers he has is the handout he wants for the CIB.

The difference between Ballard and Carson is, Ballard won't have a cadre of numb-minded drones to vote him in regardless of non-performance of duty.
