It's possible that he is too busy to write at the present time. You can always write to him. If you don't have the address, here it is:
Willard DTC
PO Box 303
Willard, NY 14588.
Be sure to put his name and is DIN on it.

Hey everyone i Haven't wrote in a while my fiancee is still at Willard and i have only seen him twice since he got there in december I work full time, while trying to get a degree in psychology, it takes up all my time.

After being at Willard my fiancee has changed in many ways, the way he talks the way he carries himself, and now he even has goals for himself. For those who are asking Willard is tough, and deff takes a toll on ur loved one and even on you, but i think in the end, we can appreciate the new person he/she is becoming.

As far as letters you can write as many letters as you want, the problem is they will get your letter just sometimes a little up to more than a week late, my fiancee tells me there's only one person who works the mail room & they start to distribute the letters to the inmates on fridays.

As well as the visits i was happy i got to spend soo much time with him being that i got there at 8am I live in Ny so i took the bus at 1am and the trip was 6hrs long. I kinda was upset at the fact that contact with him is very limited nothing like when he was at Rikers no touching, no kissing nothing! Just when the visit starts a hug and a kiss & later when the visit is over.

It hasnt being easy to get used to the fact he is at willard were they try to brake you down at all cost. & i still dont get used to it, everytime i read a letter that comes in the mail i drop down to tears he always has crazy stories to tell. & ladies they only give them 3mins to write so don't get upset.

It's all about patience, also if they don't have any stamps they can't write!. so sending them a money order of atleast 40$ can help at times...

Am still waiting patiently till he get's home, hes been away since September, in December he got moved to willard & we still aren't sure when it's his release date ;-(

i will answer any questions i can help with.

its 97 days from that tuesday he got there (unless he gets into trouble as its based on a points system). they shouldve sent a letter to you with his tentative graduation date and the clothes you can send to him for him to come home in.
good luck to your hubby. I know its rough but he's half way through!! ; )

I have a question , the program is supposed to be 97 days but my hubby has a projected release date for September , why is that? also a parole hearing date for june? If anyone can please explain..

that's on docs. my hubbys said the same. in my hubbys case he was a parle violation so it would have been a year. once he was done w willard that changed.

ur hubby should have sent you that paper telling u what his tentative graduation date it. if he has been there since september it should be some time in march. just count 97 days from the tuesday he got there. the 97 day is also a tuesday.

now its 97 days unless they get recycled which means they see a review board there to determine how much more he would have to do BUT this is only if he's been getting into trouble there.

Just graduated 3/16/10....first few weeks is the worst, then your used to flow of things. Definetly beats longer incareration. Plus saves the taxpayer's lots of money. Some of the Drill Instructor's need to be in prison themselves though.

My husband is going there can you tell me if there is anything I should give him the heads up about or some words of wisdom. If he doesnt do this program he faces 2-4 years prison and I know he doesnt want that as do I. Thank you for you time

Can anyone tell me how my husband would go about getting clothes and what kind and other necessities when he gets there. He is going there straight from jail. Also what about shoes and what kind. Also what happens to him when he is done with the 90 days? He is from northern NY. Will he come back to this part of the area and into a half way house or something or can he return to his home?Thank you for any help you may have.

If your husband is going to Willard he does not need anything with him nor do they allow any packages to be delivered to him while he is there they provide everything, because they are basically dressed up in boots pants button up and a tie. He would only basically need a money order for stamps.
