Is it an ordeal for you? I think not. This is how our justice system operates. It is sometimes a long drawn out process costing the tax payer and all involved such as the parents lots of money. The young man in this case is innocent until proven guilty and by the Constitution deserves a speedy trial. I think this is still America that we live in. So please spare us your opinion Get-R-Done and believe that this ordeal as you call it will be done and maybe sooner than you think.

Little One, No one concerned here has admitted to anything regarding guilt or innocence. I am his family and I should know the details of his case better than you who I must say is a totally illiterate redneck local that is just another rumour mongering person around here that should find something better to do. Are you a part of my family and friends? No so stay the hell out of our business. By the way Larry Wayne Whitley took a plea bargain early on to get a lighter sentence for himself and to try to pin the whole thing on Joey saying he was the so called "mastermind". A 14 year old boy is easier led by a 19 year old young man in my mind and people around here are touting Larry as some kind of freaking hero! What is wrong with you people here is you you cannot see that guilty or innocent , this was just a boyhood prank gone totally wrong and that no matter the outcome for both boy's justice will prevail and they both deserve a life after this . They are not monsters but you are perpetuating that stereotype in the publics eye about Joey who is a bright, articulate and caring boy who I love very much. We are a family that has been going through the greatest hardship and I would like it if you would respect that fact and keep your comments that are so glaringly illiterate off this blog.

Look at yourselves, you're all so pathetic. Have you nothing better to do than sit about passing judgment on others. What do any of you know? Everything you here about this trial is likely speculation passed off as facts. Your minds' are closed and your vision is narrow. You want to see someone suffer, you want retribution for the burning of your church, but you are so blinded by your search for justice that you no longer question weather or not this person is even guilty. You don't seek the truth. You seek only to point your fingersí and watch the accused fall. You are NOT victims, you are fools.

I must say that this just might be the craziest thing that I have ever seen. You do realize that as far as hate crimes go, everyone has a right to feel victimized. I can not believe that even his family would be so blinded as to suggest that writing the things that these guys did on a church ( or any other building for that matter), could even in the biggest stretch of the imagination be considered a simple child prank! Swastika's, were never and never will be a prank. There were many other very offensive things painted on that church. We all have a right to be offended and angry. Those of us who know this "child", also know that he believes exactly what was written. I also think that he does deserve a life after this. The problem is that if he and his family continue to blame everyone but themselves, his future will probably continue to effect all of us.
Why is he still on the street? Why does is he still allowed to roam around wherever and whenever he likes? Why do we all consider it o.k to walk around telling everyone around you to "F" off? And yes, even to his mother. I have heard it many times with my own ears. This is not some innocent child being demonized by the hatefull public.
