I commend this family. It takes courage to put yourself in the paper allowing the world to know that you can't think for yourself but instead have to lean on the crutch that is religion to get through a day.

In LOGIC and REASON we trust. God is just make-believe.

Thanks for covering THE most important holiday of the Christian faith. The resurrection and the restoring of our relationship with God through Christ is what it's all about.

I hope when your readers see this story that those who don't have an active faith or church home will decide that they want more and take the steps.

I second that. I feel sorry for anyone who has not found or knows God. Thank you God for entering into my heart. I feel so blessed and hope and pray that this person can somehow know you someday. In HIS Name I Pray. Amen.

You said it man. I'm tired of all this archaic crap infesting my daily life. This is the year 2007 and we still have people believing in supernatural invisible men. Jeez. These people don't need faith, they need an education and some science books.

Don't feel sorry for someone who walks without crutches. Feel sorry for yourself, then get over it and change it. Stop believing in fairy tales and then maybe when people like you stop waiting on an invisible man to fix the worlds problems, we can all work together to start fixing things for real. But until people like you open your eyes and smarten up, we will still be living in a messy world of hate and bigotry that christians (like yourself) created.

Maybe someday your heart will be opened to the Good News of Christ. You sound like an angry and bitter person.

Just because I'm not brainwashed like you doesn't mean I'm angry or bitter. Sorry but I just don't accept things based on a piece of fiction written thousands of years ago. I think for myself. When I run across something that cannot be explained, I do not say, it's how god made it, I research it and learn as much about it as I can. I try to understand everything from a scientific point of view, not a "because god made it that way" point of view. That is not being bitter and angry, it is being logical and sane. I feel sorry for people like you that are led like sheep. If only you could feel the freedom of doing the right thing because you choose to, and not because your religion and church tells you to. I simply do not require to be told how to live, I figured it out on my own. But best of luck with the following thing to you.

Obviously, your research has fallen short. You should know that science supports the existence of God, and if you really look into it there are miraculous things that can be proven. Also, the Bible isn't fiction... it's history. Not to mention that is written in hundreds and hundreds of languages and is the best selling book of all times. Oh, and did I mention that there's not another book in all the earth that has stood for thousands and thousands of years like the Bible?

Christians are not told what to do. You see, freedom is NOT the absence of bars or unrestricted living (as you seem to think). Freedom is the presence of Christ in your life.

When you find this out, as I pray you will some day, you will truly understand your purpose as a human. Without purpose, it's for what?
