You are bum get a life.Deer are pests. Wetlands attract nasty, mean Canadian geese. Trees can be grown almost anywhere in the midwest. This land is not unique. It ia not irreplaceable. Most importantly, it's not yours.

Wetlands prevent flooding because they absorb water. When the Kankakee swamp was drained it created major problems for settlers in northwestern Indiana. Trees clean the air and provide a buffer from storms. Central Indiana was a woodland when the Europeans arrived. They cut down nearly every tree to create farms. The trees at Crown Hill miraculously survived. We owe it to our ancestors and descendents to protect th last witness to pre-settlement Indiana.

Leave Crown Hill as it is, what a great piece of wilderness downtown. It would be a shame to develop it. Developers keep your greedy hands off of it!
