hey star reporter-- whats with the silly name? thats bimmer, not beemer.
if you want to be a real reporter, try reading the car and motorcycle mags to see how its spelled.

Hey Blackhawk - A bimmer has 4 wheels, a beemer only has 2.

The stats quoted in this article are obviously for larger cc motorcycles. Everyone knows that Honda is the overall superstar of motorcycles outselling every other brand worldwide. The Star needs to do a little more qualifying before making Harley look that good. BMW makes a fine machine and I am glad to see them back in Indy. The number of dealerships is why you don't see many of them. Support becomes an issue if you break down on the road.

No more 100 mile drives to change the oil on my 2007 K1200LT. The Illinois dealership is actually 2 miles closer to Brownsburg than is the Fort Wayne dealership.
And finaly will get to see some of those GS Aventures rolling about town too. One look at those bikes and your hooked.

Excellent! I own a BMW K1200LT and will be happy to have a close option for service. Don't really understand the opening comment about BMW not having their name on an Indy dealership since 1999. I bought mine at Revard's in Indy in '02.
