My congratulations to the Sisters of Providence on the canonization of Mother Theodore. All of us who were taught by the S.P's. were familiar with Mother Theodore and her process of canonization prayed for deligently by her spiritual daughters and ourselves their students. The Sisters are excellent teachers and have effected many lives throughtout these United States where they ministered in education and other apostolic works.
God Bless all of you dear Sisters - Saint Mother Theodore; Pray for US!!

I feel privieged to have visited the
campus of Saint Mary of the Woods this
summer of 2006. While there for an
Art Educators of Indiana (AEAI)
workshop I was able to view the
sculpture created in Saint Mother
Theodore Guerin's honor. The sculpture we
saw was soon to be on it's way to
New York to be cast into bronze.
This made the visit extra special since
I also visited my great aunt's
graveside located on the same campus.
The beautiful campus holds special memeories
earlier visits to see my great aunt 30 years
earlier.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the press who were with us in Rome. They were fantastic and added so much to our celebration. St. Mary of the Woods, Alumni, Chicago Suburbs

As a former Sister of Providence (1954-1972) and taught by the Sisters from First Grade through College at St. Mary-of-the-Woods,IN. I have admired the courage through adversity of Mother Theodore. I appreciate her steadfastness and humility when those in authority maligned her. She is our saint. And a Woman for all times!

Thanks to the Indianapolis Star for such glorious coverage! On Sunday, Woods Women living in the Carolinas gathered in Charlotte to celebrate this joyous event. The Star online & ETWN had made it possible to follow online during events in Rome but what a special bonus delight when a representative of the SMWC Alumnae Board brought special reprint edition .
copies for all of us to treasure for generations to come.
