Mr. & Mrs. Small,
hats off to you and your effort to keep alive the magnificent architecture of the late 19th and early 20th century. i have been in restoration for 25 years and almost every job is an archeological study. again , congratulations and thank you for preserving a part of our history that is being erased by the ever expanding vinyl sub divisions.

in 1948 I lived with my sister, brother-in-law, and gradparents in a 4plex at 510 E Miami st, one block south of New York and one block east of East sts I can't remember what they paid but I paid $8.00 a week for my room I was 16 at the time , they had the upper west side I had the front room, 5 rooms in all, it was the slums, now ?
