I wasn't aware that medics were allowed to force entry? I thought was a fire department driven protocol only after directed to by police. Unless the individual is observed to be in an emergency situation? If they could not physically see the man, they shouldn't have forced their way into the home. Being a medic and former cop, I know what those risks are. Perhaps better training is needed here?
