It is about time this guy gets "thrown" in jail! It was just about 6 weeks ago when he confronted my 14 and 13 year old sons and said he was going to "kick their A**es" for supposedly yelling something at him. He is the true definition of trouble. Thank you to Lamar PD for getting him off the street even if it is for a little bit. My understanding is this is not his first time doing this time and I am sure he will bond out and will attempt to do something like this again. Hopefully the justice system does its job and keeps him in jail for a lengthy amount of time.

interesting. six weeks ago huh. what happened...you find out about the case? please do. and yesterday the wreck at Taco Johns...how come so many police cars lined up. just curious. some one told me they decided to take lunch. perhaps it was a training session, im sure Brian had his reasons.
Lets see what the bond is for this time...might need a small judge adjustment. they will tell me of course huh you write and leave the bonds to us son...hehe. been there and done all that. but nice work LPD. YOU NEVER KNOW ABOUT A GUY WITH A GUN OR A LADY WITH A GUN.LAMARGUY |

please elaborate...i'm confused... |

There really was not much of a case. The officer's took statements from the boys and a few witnesses and turned it over to the D.A. which is how this situation should have been handled. It was documented and the individual was adviced to stay clear of the boys. This was satisfactory to by my wife and I as the boy's parents. I am aware that maybe my words were a bit harsh but it seems that there is a line of repetition of threats against others. Now I am sure like most cases there are more than one side to this present case. I was simply stating that my family has had a conflict with this individual in the past. |

Confusing article.....neighborhood around Lincoln School..
yet the article states the Heskett "walked on to Wahsington Elementary School Lincoln and Washington are "a few blocks apart" as I recall. |

man, lamar is getting crazy!!! i'm kinda affraid for our children! Do you think i'm over reacting? I always thought of this as a safe community...
It is a safe community... but like every community things happen...we just need to be aware of our surroundings and what is right and what is out of place...give your children a big hug and kiss when they go to sleep tonight...thank god we live in Lamar...it could be worse

ALUMNI-The incident happened by Washington School and he left the area but was apprehended by Lincoln. It was a bit confusing story though.

I have to agree prove reading would be a good thing anyone who has lived her should know that though Washington school is on Tenth street Mapel is on the other side of town. |

He is a very dangerous man. He's done prison time in Kansas on gun related charges.
Hmmm. . . And from his name, he is not latino. Interesting.

Proof reading is needed by more than the paper. Commenters could actually use a second read (and spell check), too.
Obviously, the Paper made a mistake and printed Washington School instead of Lincoln.. They are human but needed to check for mistakes!

Just read this and the comments. With all the gun laws and hype about guns being bad, I just wondered how many noticed that it was the MAN holding the gun who is a problem, not the gun.
There's an ad on the radio about a "gun crime" that appears to make the "gun" the bad thing and not the man using the gun. I just thought I'd toss in the thought that if there's a gun involved, there's usually "someone" brandishing the gun, which means the gun isn't acting alone. Interesting concept - ya think? |

capitalist.....YOU NAILED IT

It sounds scary to me!
Crazy people have a tendency to do that |
Now a SVP (sexually violent predator) lives a few blocks west of Lincoln school! We have a murderer out of jail too! What is Lamar coming too? So much for leaving my doors unlocked at certain times!
