Jackson's truck/trailer - with many violations on the truck/trailer - for an unknown reason.....raced up the LEFT shoulder of the turnpike (50+ miles perhour) because the traffic was very slow or stopped. Is this what a responsible truckowner or driver does when traffic is slow? His truck/trailer killed two people and 6 badly injured.
Over a period of MANY months Jackson lied about 'who' was driving at the time, mechanical violations etc... He deserved his sentence and then some!!

And don't forget this guy was hiding in an attic in a Georgia house when they were looking to arrest him..... Sound like an innocent man to you??

Jackson should have been found guilty in 2005 because he leased the truck and was responsible for its condition. The fact that it had few working brakes, few tires with any tread on them, and no working windshield wipers should have made him responsible regardless of who was driving. Gardner was driving and should also be prosecuted. Jackson's blatant disregard for the well being of other people on the road and his own drivers deserves more than 10 years.
