I've moved to Florida in the Lake Nona area and find that I'm not all that happy here. The Villages looks amazing with tons to do. I'd love to hear from someone who lives there if they're contented living there and if there really is as much to do as the website indicates. Appreciate any help. Thanks

My wife and I moved to the villages last June and have not regretted it for one moment. We thought we found our retirement home in Maryland's eastern shore but after two winters in TV we decided this is where we wanted to live. Too much for this email but unless you have grandchildren and wish to be next to where they live you will embrace the quality of life here. If you desire a lifestyle that is active and full of opportunities then TV is a wonderful place to live. FYI we are 62 years old and have not looked back. All the best. And for those who desire something else we wish you'll the best but please do not trash TV as if it is not "right" for you please respect those of us who have made this significant choice to live here.

Thank you so very much for responding. I absolutely hate Lake Nona and cannot wait to get out of here. So much so that I am considering moving back North (but realize that's probably not a good idea. I am 61 and in Lake Nona, unless you're 12 and under there is nothing to do. GET ME OUT OF HERE. At any rate, I am still seriously considering TV. I am way bored with television and a knitting group. Seriously........there is still some life in these bones. Sounds as if I should still try out a guest cottage for a few days. Thanks again for responding.

You are correct. It is a free country and people can speak as this wish. If you don't like it, don't listen
