border collie dog found

Sioux City, IA

#1 Dec 1, 2012
On interstate 40 east bound to Nashville around mile marker 110 there was two dogs on the side of the interstate. One dog is predominately border collie the other dog was a small fiesty looking dog. They were gnawing on some old bone and were terrified. I managed to catch the border collie dog but the little one took off running back in the opposite direction (back towards mm 109). I was scared both dogs would be ran over. If you or you know someone missing a border collie dog from this area please alert me on here. The dog is female and appears to be 2-4 years of age. She was wearing a THICK army green collar. The other dog with her appeared to be wearing the same kind of collar. I am really hoping these dogs were lost and not dumped. She is VERY SMART, GENTLE, and LOVES affection. Thank you for any help you can offer to return her to her owners!
