West Brattleboro development receives grant

The redevelopment of the Ann Wilder Richards Building in West Brattleboro has received additional funding through the Affordable Housing Program supported by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston.

So, ah, out of state people get money to come to Brattleboro to make money from us? Do they import the construction as well? And hey, why didn't someone from Brattleboro get this money? Why is this a Bank of Boston project getting money off the needs of Brattleboro?

Why? Because Brattleboro sells out to the highest bidder - no matter where they come from and no matter how they push and shove native Vermonters out of this town. Where is Audrey when we need her? Oh, yeah - they shoved her around too.

Time to get to the meetings folks. These people will sell your underwear and you'll find yourself half naked and without anything but their out of state housing! Oh - while they raise every tax except these guys - they get reduction in taxes for low income housing. It's ALL SMOKE AND MIRRORS PROFIT.

The local labor racketeers want subsidised housing so they don't have to pay a living wage and can play off the rest of the workers against the housing project people to keep wages down.

They know the NIMBY people won't fight something labeled affordable housing because it's not PC to attack the poor.
