As reported on www.NKY.com ..........

The Kentucky Department of Education has released federal No Child Left Behind reports as well as Kentucky Core Content Tests scores indicating the percentage of students scoring either distinguished, proficient, apprentice or novice, the latter two being below NCLB standards.

In many testing areas including math and writing on demand, the majority of students at Silver Grove School are not reaching proficient or distinguished levels, but rather are scoring at the lower levels of apprentice or novice.

"Unfortunately, our ability to make meaningful change is slower than we would like, based on personnel decisions, budget reductions, employee contract deadlines, assessment training, cultural change training, etc.," Montgomery said.

I think a sign I saw posted up in Cold Spring is fitting here..."Leaders take blame, not credit."

Went downhill fast. How this guy still has a job is beyond my comprehension. He nor his cohert cares squat about those kids. Its a shame. Use to be a pretty good school where people who ran it truly cared about kids and wanted to be there. No one wants to be there now!!!
