Where is Latimer County Sheriff Israel Beachamp?

I'm not defending the former Sheriff in anyway but only being honest. Sorry if i don't put all your names on here that have made, well to honest stupid and ignorant comments. The comments about leaving his post, obviously your not up to date with any of the requirements of being an elected official even though it is right in front of you. ALL elected officials can have other jobs. Do you think that a congress member doesn't own their on businesses or firms. Now to the part of what he does and why is it a mystery where he is. It's called OPSEC. Look the meaning up. When we are gone fighting to keep our country safe with our life's we don't go and tell the public when and where we are at, for it puts our families at risk and our country (that's a no brainer) and to be honest we just don't brag and tell people. So "insider" think before something stupid comes out of your mouth like calling someone a liar. The blackwater (which I'm glad you said that company, not even close idiots) and calling us mercenaries "RetArmyOfficer" and others on here. Obviously you were a pencil pushing screw up not to know what OPSEC or knowing anything about the special ops. groups and referring us to mercenaries. 1st we don't tell no one who we work because of OPSEC reasons. 2nd what you don't know, is better for us and you (sorry your not special enough). 3rd the last known mercenary group was in the 90's, even the definition of that word (look it up) is lack of describing us for we work for our own country defending or own; not for another that is influencing another country by force of arms. How dare you call us that name traitors. We are mostly war vets and military. The last thing, what is wrong with a man or a solider trying to do the best he knows how for his family and country. Rumors will be rumors and I, myself have dealt with such things. Just funny to see what some of you come up with. "mouth breathers" please hold your breathe for your wastin our good oxygen.

Israel, get geared up to run in the next election. You will have a huge mess to clean up after Jesse gets done but I'm sure you can do it. One favor though, don't bring Adam Woodruff or Mat bone back. I know you had high hopes for Markus but his family has too many problems that get in the way.

I am watching the episode of Disappeared that features the missing family and has Sheriff Beauchamp on it. I did an internet search because I thought it was very interesting to see a Sheriff with tattoos, and I agree with the person who said that it shows that the people of Latimer County are open-minded and don't jump to stupid conclusions based on tattoos like some people on here. This man was well-spoken, intelligent, and respectable and I don't understand how this is "not a good representative of Latimer County"--unless Latimer County is a bunch of unintelligent, prejudiced, closed-minded Judgey McJudgersons...then no I guess he wouldn't be a good representation.

I NEVER AGET STAR STRUCK Or even find any of the men I've met since breaking up with my ex over a year ago even remotely good looking or interesting! I had the same thoughts!! Saw him on the show and was like whoa! Was very sad to see he was married but not surprised! Wish we had men like that down here! I've only met one & spent 4&1/2yrs with him he turned out to be a narcissistic A$$hole, the sheriff seems to be an all around good man! So jealous!

That guy gave me more hours than any other reserve and always was professional and polite. He obviously didn’t do it for the pay since he had a full time job he done it for me and his county. Even Brooks done me a good job and I can never deny that. He might have been a horrible sheriff but I can never take away from the work he done for me as a deputy. Markus has plenty of experience and im proud to indorse him as sheriff but I’ll say this that both candidates’ names have been put through the grinder and I know how hard it is to run for office! No matter which one wins they have many sleepless and stressful nights ahead of them and I don’t envy them @ all. As for the comments from the women out of respect for my beautiful wife I will never reply…. Lastly I would like to add the ppl that have made bad comments toward our county as a whole I feel you don’t have the right. I have worked with many ppl all over the world Law Enforcement and Military and trust me it isn’t that bad in Latimer County. No it isn’t perfect but with the job I have I can live anywhere in the world and I’ll always call Latimer my home. I’m proud to say I’m from Latimer, I love the ppl there, I’m proud of my name and I’m proud of my time as sheriff to not forget the men and women that worked for me while I was there. Thank you

I wish you well. But while this Jamison "mystery" continues. Some idiots will always think someone got away with a crime on the case. When the truth is no crime was ever commited. There are no warrants out for the Jamisons. Just a program in reruns will continue to cast a dark shadow on innocent people who have done nothing wrong.

I hope if you do become sheriff again you'll dispell the dark cloud with some well worded truth. That the Jamisons have walked away and they do not want to be found.

The money left was turned over awefully quick in court to the husbands mom.
Maybe they misplaced that half under all the junk in the truck or stashed it when high or maybe they left it for a reason. We could pick and choose a couple things that don't make sense.
An entire family of three gone... the only "missing" family other than the McStay family in the entire US. Yet if it weren't for reruns of one cable program this story would be over.
No active investigation.
No reward or plea for information.
No crime scene.
No family members seemingly actively still searching ....
I could go on and on and on.
