I have a big problem with wps! They do NOT keep the childrens best intrest at heart! They DO NOT follow the law. The administration is crap. I wish someone would stand up to them and get rid of all of their bullcrap teachers & officials. They think they have power and can do whatever they want. But I have a feeling something is about to change pretty fast!

It could be worse. Just read the threads about Haileyville school. The moronic school board made the mistake of hiring the idiot superintendent Caughern from LeFlore after he nearly ran LeFlore into the ground. Now he's just about destroyed Haileyville.

There is no discipline at the school. Favoritism is rampant among the students and staff. Their technology isn't working. The Supt. has sucked all of the money dry. He wasted a lot of money on buying an activity bus and a half million dollar football fieldhouse for a team that never wins a game. I could write a book, but you get the idea.

Wilburton might have it rough, but it could always be worse. We're working hard at trying to get rid of Caughern and his buddies at Haileyville. Just pray that you don't end up with them at Wilburton. You're not that far down the road.

Wilburton Public school system is very CLICK orientated. The Super. Struts like a Banny Roster. He knows no one that is not part of his Click. The Princ. Tries a little more but not much. My chils Grad. and I am relieved. It is tough with the blood lines and buddy system as strong as it is. They have been known to hold school buses for school board members children and leave others. It is sd but true.

Actually, Wilburton has pretty decent schools. The problem is with the students they have to deal with. Unfortunately, a lot of the kids in the schools come from stinking welfare whores and the have no dicipline. The way to cure the problem is to exicute all degenerate mothers and their pervert lovers and the brats they've produced and then you'll see a good educational system because the kids that are in school will all come from good, hard working and productive families.

I think they are way behind all the other schools in the state. Would be nice if they would step upto the 21 centrury...Parents should be able to check the students grades over the internet. THEY NEED TO STEP UP!

I agree with Georgia. Some of the kids in the Wilburton schools should be put into work camps instead of trying to teach them anything. It burns me up that I have to pay school taxes for kids that don't want an education. Take Brooks Bullington for example. He's 7 years old and has already been kicked out of school. 7 years old, for crying outloud! The problem is that his mother is a tramp from Arkansas and she already has one kid in prison and now she's working on training the second kid for a life of crime. What can you possible do with a kid like that? Put the little creep in a work camp and be done with it.

the school allowed someone to go on the vocal trip with the kids rode the bus sat and ate with them talked to them all day long and everything, this person just got out of jail and is waiting a trial, for child neglect and abuse and animal cruelty im just so so thrilled that my kiddo was exposed to this without my knowing, needless to say she will be missing out on tomorrows trip i cant take the chance of her being around people like that.

From reading the post above I would say that instead of spending money on trips, Wilburton should hire a better English teacher.
Just saying.

I am the one who allowed the parents to go with their children to vocal contest. I invited every mother or guardian that wanted to go the opportunity. I told my students if their parents wanted to go, to have them call. I had 4 parents on the bus, plus a certified teacher going to contest and I rode on the bus coming home. NO ONE WAS INAPPROPRIATE. If you need to talk to me you can call me at school. I think people know me well enough to know I would never put a child at risk.

Hello Yepp, nice to see you found an alias to suit your vile mouth.
You only have 2nd hand knowledge of this person. From what we have heard there is a charge not a conviction "HUGE DIFFERENCE" and the children that sat and spoke and ate their lunch with Ms. Dunhon and their teachers were very pleased to have had the time to speak to Ms. Dunhon. So until you get your facts straight just sit down and shut up.

Ma'am thank you for responding to this non-sense. I personally have never met Mrs. Dunhon or her children but I do speak with them on a daily basis and have never heard or found any reason to think that Mrs. Dunhon would have nothing other than something good to bring to the table when it comes to children.

thank you both for your support. Kathryn and I had a wonderful time and the few children that I did speak to enjoyed my company also. I also enjoyed speaking to the other mothers that took the time out of their busy days to spend time also with their sons and daughters and watch them do a totally awesome job competing! I am very proud of all of them and how well they did Lots of 1's !
For the rest of you GET MY NAME RIGHT IT IS D U H O N ! And unlike YEPP who likes to run its mouth behind a fake name I state my name clearly.

"HUGE DIFFERENCE"

I think everyone has seen the pictures of the place, of the animals, emaciated horses and dogs, of the filth those children were living in. The children would not have been removed if everything were A-OK. It was on TV, it went national on the internet. Disgusting. Its one thing to be a help and savior of animals, its another all together to be a hoarder who files as a non-profit, then abuses (yes failure to care for the animals and children is abuse)those who should be helped. I wouldn't want these people near my children or my dogs for that matter.

Yepp, I have a question? When you say you don't want your kid exposed to that, exposed to what? This woman may not live a life that you live, but going on a trip with a child affected your child and other children how? The children who were supposedly neglected will tell you many times they were never neglected and were more than taken of than probably your own children. I am glad the teacher is taking up for the decision she made.

what I find laughable is that I the accused have no fear of stating my name yet you busybodies hide behind fake names. My supporters don't hide either. So if your really believed in what you were posting you would post your name too. But since it is obvious that you do not know of which you speak DON'T SPEAK! It will be shown that the pictures and so called facts on tv were false. The charges unsubstantiated, and all you know it alls WRONG! And to stoop to your level I bet that my so called neglected children are better educated (substantiated with straight A/B all school history), better mannered, and just better all around citizens than your children. So much for neglected!
