What were their names. I lived there from the 40's until I went in the army in 57.

There's a lot of un-marked cemetaries though.. Very interesting as well. Old, but interesting. I live down by one. It's kind of grown up.. No one takes care of it anymore.

You may be thinking of cane creek church cemetery, it is grown up and on Slater rd.

That's interesting. My maternal gt grandma is buried in Wickliffe Cemetery (1912). Her family moved to Ballard County from Robertson County Tn. in 1880 I believe. Some of my gt grandma's family members are probably buried in those unmarked cemeteries around that area.

I was always told how good the water was out of the artesian well. Was it sealed over or capped or something? How hard would it be to tap back into it? Was it behind the stage in the park?

best I remember it was kinda angled behind the stage. I do not know what they did to the well but I bet it could be opened again if someone owned the land and had the money.
