In my opinion, Dr. Stephen Schneider and his wife, Linda Schneider, are being vilified. I would like to add my name to the petition in their defense.

I am a chronic pain patient. I would post my MRI results to show confirmation of a crumbling spine if possible, but it's a shame that I would feel the need to "prove" my need of pain management.
Mr Jon Q, it is people like you who make this problem worse. You have no idea what Leslie's situation is, or if she was even a Schneider patient. She expressed her opinion. But you JUDGED. Shame on you.
I was not a Schneider Clinic patient, and have not yet fully determined how I feel about this case.
I do think the Feds are out to crucify any physician willing to address pain issues and for that, they are wrong.
It is my hopes that some good comes from this. I pray that the medications which provide me with enough relief to function will be taken out of the hands of those who are using them for recreation purposes.

My sister,Dr. Sharon Johnston, Naples, Fl., was set up by 3 DEA agents claiming to be in extreme pain. These 3 had fake BCBS cards. After an exam and listening to the complaint she prescribed 1 month of medication with advise to begin testing. She was arrested, tried and convicted. Our Fed. Government is now dictating what our good docs can and cannot do. This is a state issue; certainly not federal or criminal at all. I pray for the Schneiders but I have little faith in the system. SCOTUS refused to hear the appeal. We are loosing all our rights. Please wake up, America!

I have never been a patient of Dr. Schneider's. I was, as AC Reed wrote, just expressing my opinion.

its a shame that kansas still denies the medical use of marijuana. if they would just wake up and allow medical to be bought/sold in a dispensary setting there would be no need for people in chronic pain to use dangerous and addicting pain pills.

In California it's sold on every street corner and grown on every hilltop. The shit's so potent that you dont have to smoke it to get high, just walk down the street.

I just want to clarify that the statement beginning with "wow why dont you ...." was made by Ronnie Roland, not by me.

There is a difference between a person in pain and needing relief and a pill mill
Schneider was a pill mill, my dope head niece with absolutely no health problems out side drug abuse was getting her fix there
This person was giving her prescription narcotic drugs with no pain, no history of pain,no accidents to cause physical pain, no birth defects, NOTHING
Now that her dealer is out of business and the entire family now knows that she is a dope head and she cannot very easily get dope and she is being watched like a hawk..........NO MORE PAIN,HIGH GLORY SHE HAS BEEN HEALED, NO MORE NEED FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT.
This "doctor" was nothing more than a street level drug dealer with a office in stead of a back alley.

If marijuana has a medical use, why not extract the useful parts and put it in pill form?

It seems kind of irresponsible to prescribe something that you need to smoke. Especially a recreational drug.
