How can Mr.DeSales sleep at night, defending a drunk driver that killed a young man??? Drunk is Drunk there is no excuse!!!!!!

I have two teenage boys and I am sickened to think that things like this happen becasue of selfish people that can not be responisble when they drink. It does not take much effort to call a taxi. It does not matter if you have one drink or one sip-DO NOT get behind the wheel of an automobil -period! There is no punishment sever enough for the driver! A life was taken, what makes it worse is that is was an inocent child. Jail is to good for the driver.
My heart and prayers go out to the friends and family of the young victim!!!

The Granado family has to sit there and listen to her Lawyer blaming Martin for running across the street? I can not believe it! The nerve of that so called lawyer. May Martin Jr. Rest in Peace with our Lord Jesus! Any update on todays hearing?

Please remember Martin as he was... He was a stong athlete and christian, his family and friends are still missing him. Join them in prayer not harsh words, this person will one day have to face the final and only Judge for her actions; until then the only thing that helps all of his family and friends during this trial is Prayer and Support!
My prayer is for the family to be strong, for our father to guide those involved to come to the right decision and final...Justice for Martin!

Yes this is a tragic, my prayers go out to the family and we in the whiiter community pray that this driver can do more time then the driver who killed those 3 teenagers, we are tired of drunk drivers getting away with this, they made the choice to drink and then go behind the wheel to drive and take away a loved one from thier family we that live close by have to drive right by lambert and see the flowers and hearts that are displayed and remember this tragic accident a young man staying out of trouble and comming from football practice, isn't this what we want are young kids to do, well for him lets put this driver away and show other drivers we are not going to put up with this, may the family no that we residents from the whittier area are behind them 100% percent, Im sending this from my work site.

I am praying for all the families. there is no excuse for drunk driving, however I am grateful she did not leave the scene, like so many other tragic accidents. She will have to live with this for the rest of her life. I drove everyday to work and back for several months looking memorial for Martin and prayed for him and his family. That is a horrible intersection and I also blame the city and hope one day they put sidewalks for these kids. There are so many drivers that drive extremely fast on this street.

it may be tragic, but common sense on both sides would have saved both lives

Please remember if she was not drinking drunk, just maybe she would have avoided killing him.

He did nothing wrong, since when is crossing the street wrong? Tell me you have not cut the corner crossing a street because that is all he did. She however did....she drank too much acohol and then got behind the wheel!
Just pray for the family and that justice in the court will be served, she will have to face the finally and only judge one day.
