I don't think this is a waste of time or money. I rather have people investigate suspicious things/activities than not investigate at all.

Yes just a nice elderly lady collecting skulls for a hobby.
All I want to know is why does someone collect the skulls of the deceased.
Sure teacups, knitting but skulls makes me wonder what other fun and exciting things she might be collecting.
I know I couldn't sleep next to door to this house.

As for Glendora, hope this near scare alert lights a fire under some flunky sitting in City Hall to get with the program and start earning some of that freeloading money he/she makes from the TAX PAYERS.

GLENDORA - Two skulls found in the back yard of a home are believed to be collectibles intended for a display, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said Friday.

A Southern California Edison worker spotted a human skull and some other bones Wednesday evening on the patio of a Glendora house in the 1000 block of E. Renwick Road, Glendora Police Detective Marty Barrett said.

Upon investigation, the skulls have a lacquer around them and were not damaged in anyway, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

"The individual at the property had lots of Indian artifacts," Whitmore said. "She was a pack rat. There is nothing sinister here."

The Los Angeles County Department of the Coroner will still conduct an evaluation of the skulls, but unless that produces something to the contrary, homicide investigators are no longer on the case, Whitmore said.

The skulls were clean with no bullet holes or damage, Whitmore said. "They were display ready," Whitmore said.

An anthropologist will examine the bones in the next few days, coroner's officials said.

Neighbors reported an 87-year-old woman by the name of Helen Gibbs moved out of the home about six months ago.

She lived in the residence since at least 1975, according to records.

I used to have a dotty old aunt who had about 5,000 hummels. They made fun of her too.

Now her grandchildren live in the Hamptons.

I live in the neighborhood and saw the skulls. THERE WAS A BULLET HOLE IN ONE OF THEM!!!! That's why the Sheriff homicide and coroner were there. Whitmore is a windbag!!
