Nuh uh! I do!! LOL. Just kidding. I have a Kenworth T-600B, but it's lettered and painted for CFI, or now Con-Way Truckload. It's a company truck, but I keep it sparkling clean, inside and out. LOL. Steve needs to see about getting on Trick My Truck....I bet The Boys could work a lil more magic on that beast and make it a mean looking sumbitch. I'll say this much...Steve's KWhopper is an awesome looking piece of machinery, but I am an International/Volvo man really. KW's look good going down the road, but I like turning and having room to move my happy ass around in.

Well I guess if you work for most companys outside of this town , you would know that just about all trucks are on 68 to 70.. Now they done that when the ass holes raised Diesel so the poor man, working his ass off was spending a few more hours on the road..Poor truck drivers, its a hard job, and they work for their money every trip.. But nothing pisses me off no more than to see people being rude to the drivers.. Are people so stupid that they dont know them drivers is what gets their food to the stores, or meds to the drug store.. COme on, Some people just dont got a clue what it would be like to drive a truck.. GOD BLESS YOU DRIVERS.... YOU ALL NEED A RAISE FOR PUTTING UP WITH ASS HOLES EVERY DAY!!!

Most companies set their trucks at 72 mph, or 68 mph. No trucks are set at the factory at a prescribed speed, according to Volvo's website and IH's web page. Myself, our trucks are governed at 66.5 mph. Our torque on is on the high side of 1500 rpm. They will pull. I don't like Caterpillar motors, but the T-600B that CFI has me in is slowly converting me over. I'm a Cummins man, and I like a Cummins ISX 525 h.p. with a 13 speed. The trucks we had at HT in Nicholasville were geared at 4.33, with an ISX 625, and a 13. No top end, until someone got a damned ticket in Kenton County. Then they cut 'em back to 75. Personally, 75 is fast enough for big rigs. Because if you blow a steer tire at 80 or higher, they will be picking pieces of you up for many weeks to come. Get on YouTube and look at the tractor trailer fuck ups, and see what I'm talking about. I worked for CoreTrans (a BIG mistake), and they were set at 68, and you were lucky to get that. The people who run CoreTrans are really incompetent. That's apparent. But, I'm an opinionated trucker. Thanks for soap box time.

I hear ya there, brother. Who does Mr. Duncan driver for, is it Brooks? Me and him are related, by blood.(Don't tell anybody...sssshhhh.) I think I know you...but don't hold me to that. I tip my hat to you guys who own your own tractors...with the cost of fuel, insurance, and brokers like CHRobinson (aka, Cheap Haul Robmesome) not paying the fuel surcharge...it's killer. Anyway, keep in touch...

Nah...I lived in Danville for 7 years, got divorced and moved back to Stearns, and just recently moved to Richmond. I grew up in Stearns/Smithtown area. I graduated highschool in '98. Worked at Sloppy (Super) Service from '01-'05. But my truck stands out when I come through the County...big red T-600B, Con-Way Truckload on the door. Small truck, but it's growin on me...
