well my son told me that these children recieved was a couple of days of after school detention except for 1 and she just had to sit out of a ball game, but I guess if your parents are teachers you shouldn't be punished the same as the other kids

When you don't have much of a role model for the kids to be around, what do you expect? Have of the school district employess have pictures of them drinking or in a bar having a good time posted on Facebook. Some are leaders of your children. It would really surprise you to know who they are. I think its a disgrace when you try to teach your children right from wrong and then they go to school and the staff is talking about their good times.

i head that they stole the vodka from the teacher's lounge.

stealing is wrong, but why are teaching staff getting drunk while on the clock?

i think it's funny how all of this got turned around so much. the vodka didn't get stolen from the teachers lounge. another student brought it in a water bottle and told other students it was just water and to try it. the ones that fessed up to taking a drink are suspended Monday and Tuesday and the ones that lied got out free. and no, she didn't get special treatment from only sitting out one game..she sat out friday and saturday plus she can't practice Monday or Tuesday. come on people get ur stuff straight before you go spreading it around.

I think the biggest Joke, is people expecting the Teachers to do all the work. You should be the biggest role model for your kids. Children emulate what the parents do at home 99% of the time. The greatest gift you could give your child is to spend time with them. Of course if you, yourself are a piece of crap......best hope they have a good teacher at school.

If you think you can do a better job teaching our children, get your degree and have at it. lol

The greatest gift you could give your child is not to raise them in McQueery County.

I think the schools down there should be closed. They obviously don't do any good.

The thing is you teach your kids right from wrong and then they go to school and a teacher will tell them how they were addicted to drugs but now they are drug free. BULL. Then you have the ones that think its OK to partake of alcoholic drinks and tell your child about it. Someone needs to step in and put a stop to all of this.

Just wait until they get a driver's license and can drive to Winfield. I was buying beer down there as a 16 year old sophomore. Gotta love Winfield.

the smart 16 year olds will drive to winfield and buy 10 cases or more and sell it to the other kids in school for a profit

I'd say in today's world $1.50 a can for beer would be about right for high school kids. Gas has gone up.

If you pull up to a beer store in TN. and ask for a 12pack you might get ID'd.

If your first response is, "Give me 10 cases of Bud, and a 6 pack bottles on the house" you will more than likely get a sale.

Also, drive through is your friend. Never go inside.
