being a police officer this shocking but attempted murder no the victims in this case were not the intended target by statue attempted murder does dont apply granted it may have been his intentions recklass endanngerment is a lesser element of agg assault so it does not apply also being intoxicated is a enhanchment so the DA office should have reviewed it and thinks agg assault would be better to prosecute and a much stronger case

I know this guy, grew up with him and all. I really hate this happened, but like it has been stated if this had been someone of a lower status the charges would be thicker than what it is. if it had been the other way around and the family defended themselves and murked his butt, b/c he's a so called police officer,would they be charged with 1st degree murder when he was clearly in the wrong????? real talk... it's clear he intended on killing someone although he was at the wrong house. Another thing, for him to be at the wrong house, was this really his girlfriend. something to think about

I agree, we all want to criticize and say how stupid he was. Yes, he messed up and ruined his life and altered others, but we as a christians need to pray for him and the victims and thank God that it wasnt alot worse.
