What an appalling analogy! How many babies are born with hemorrhoids?

I really dont think you are an atheist. You quote the scriptures to well. I think you are a very lonely Christian who cant get attention any other way except to portray yourself as you do.
Must be a misereable life.
Wrong I'm afraid. I was born an atheist just like you, and I was subjected to the indoctrination process as a child just like you, but for me it never worked. I believe an atheist should have knowledge of that which he rejects - otherwise, how can one reject it?
Everyone is born an atheist without hemorrhoids - the problems come later with age and peer pressure from the ax grinders.

I'm sorry to disillusion you but you were born an atheist. Every baby on the planet is an atheist baby. Your religion is an accident of birth and culture. Had you been born elsewhere, you would have a different religion. Had you been born in India you would probably be a Hindu. Had you been born in Pakistan you would probably be a Muslim. Had you been born in China you would probably he Buddhist or Taoist. Are you suggesting that if you had been born in Saudi Arabia you would be a Christian where there are no Christian churches?
Culture is what dictates religion. You were born into your Christian culture and indoctrinated into it.

nope sorry....born a Christian and always will be! My religion is not a accident of anything! I wasnt born anywhere but here in the Southern USA and therefore was put where I am for a reason! I just so happened to be blessed by God and born into a God loving family with great values and Thank him everyday for it! Instead of wasting your time trying to convince everyone that their religion is unfounded....maybe you should take the time to get yourself right before it's too late! I would rather believe in God and the words of the Bible and believe in Heaven and Hell rather than not to believe at all and come to find out that the words of the Lord are true! Either way....You wont convince me any different just as the same I wont convince your thoughts any different, so why waste the time?

also....I feel and have felt the presence of the Lord....there's no denying that feeling! Theres no explanation for the feeling you get sitting in that church pew with the preacher preaching and the Lords presence taking over your body from head to toe! Or watching the miracles that he performs! NO DENYING

You make my point for me. You were born into a Christian family therefore you are a Christian. At an age before reason you were taught about your god and your church. You are now unable to reason against it. I have heard exactly the same from Muslims who were placed in Allah's family and Hindu's who worship Ganesh. Do you think that a god chooses where people will be born and which religion they will be indoctrinated into?

How do you know it is the presence of a Lord? I often cry when listening to great music - simply an emotion. Emotions are what you create.

I haven't made any point except for the fact that I'm a Christian and proud of it! I believe that God has the power to do anything he wants to do. I believe he put himself in my heart while I was still in the womb therefore I was born a Christian! I believe he put me where I am, to have free thinking and free will to believe in him.

Another thing.....you state above that because I was born into a Christian family therefore I'm Christian! How do you explain the scenario of a preachers child not being a Christian or an atheist's child being a Christian? What you are raised around doesn't define who you are! It's what's in your heart that makes you a Christian not your culture and surroundings!

I've cried from watching movies as well and I can tell you from experience there is a difference between emotion and the presence of the Lord! Your right emotion is what you create.....but the feeling I get from the presence of my Lord is something you CAN NOT create....only the Lord himself can!!!!

I agree with you. However, maybe Auntie has never felt the Lord's presence because she has not fully accepted that The Lord died for each and every sin, nor has she fully submitted to Him, yet. It is comparable to winning a prize. She has the "winning" ticket, yet refuses to admit the prize is real, as well as, refusing to "cash in" her "winning ticket" and submitting herself to the awaiting prize. Also, it is toddler-like behavior to believe you must see things to KNOW they exist.

If everything was created with a bang----Why do all the planets spin at different rates, different directions, and why do they orbit the sun differently?(NOT ONE evolutionist can answer that, btw!)

The same reason we still have water. It is a CYCLE. We can PROVE life cycles occur. We cannot prove evolution because no PERSON knows everything. Perhaps you should accept the fact that you ARE NOT the "all-knowing" creature that you believe yourself to be. Acceptance is the first step to changing---not stubbornness! You may believe you are a free thinker, but you are inevitably bound by your unwillingness to accept any theories or possibilities other than your own.

Also, believing in Jesus, does not mean that you can't believe in Science. Furthermore, scientists believed that their "carbon dating" was undeceivably correct. They have discovered that their numbers are extremely "off" because they didn't account for climatic changes and earth catastrophes in the process. You can be a scientist and a Christian. Numerology was completely different when the Bible was written, as well as, many ideas did not translate well. Be a true "free thinker", and stop binding yourself in a way that the majority of Christians do.

since you yelled checkmate to early the penalty is : game on.

ashes to ashes, dust to dust. sound familiar. the Almighty is the best recycler in the universe. like billions after Adam we all return to dirt. maybe that is why we still have dirt.

now it is checkmate. you have no move.

You seem to be suggesting that Christianity is innate? Do you seriously believe that a child having no contact with peers or parents would become a Christian and know all about the alleged life of Jesus etc? I find that impossible to believe. Religious beliefs are not hardwired just the same as speech is not. If a child is not taught to speak, how will it learn language? If a child cannot learn language without teaching, how can it learn (or know) which religion to follow?

The claim that we evolved from monkeys betrays an ignorance of evolution.
