I for one do not understand something why do some think the police dept in damascus does such a great job,just what are they doing that is so great.They dang sure don't enforce the driving laws,and the cross walk signs that are now aat the all the cross walks are a big joke.I for one do stop when someone is trying to cross the street but i have seen people off the sidewalk and as many as seven cars drive thru the crosswalks and i have seen some people even stop when there wasn't anyone wanting to cross.So what is the police dept doing so great driving their cars to different locations in town and parking them is that it.If the police chief wants to run the town let him run for mayor and get elected.
