You should all move to Oregon. Garberville is finished, I read about it in the paper. Years from now people will find the shells of buildings with furnishing intact. Some homes with meals abandoned half-eaten. Then people will be drawn to the silent witness of what once was a thriving community. Many will shake their heads in wonder and gladly pay the entrance fee to see how a once proud people used to live. So sad, so very sad.

Keep up the fight. Fight Caltrans! Save Garberville and the surrounding small businesses.
