Tender 46 Winthrop, WA	#1 Jul 6, 2011 This comment by the writer is total out in left field.(See below) These amounts are to high, I can purchase fire shelters, these are the new blue bagged ones just released two years ago for less then $400.00 EACH!! Come on, fingerprinting is a lot less than $300 per person at the county jail. These cost items need to reflect current prices not inflated prices. [Additionally, the state may soon require each firefighter to have a personal wildland fire shelter at $1,400 each, and medical first responders may have to be fingerprinted for $300 each.
