"And we'll have that outer beltway the Governor wanted!"
"...the need for the parkway..."
"need"? "regional road planners" always "feel" a "need" for more roads. It's their religion, based solely upon BELIEF. In their jobs, that is.
And local yokel politicos and county employees always buy into that 100%. Roads = "progress".
And what about the average citizen? To us, that "progress" = HIGHER TAXES. More CONGESTION. Endless sprawling and a lower quality of life.
Ronnie would be proud of the dimwits in this article.

If you drive through brownsburg everyday like we do you would see how needed this road is. It will reduce the congestion in town. I cant tell you how often i have to sit through 3-4 lights in the morning to turn left off of northfield blvd to get onto the interstate. Its to the point now where its quicker to drive about 5 miles out of the way to get on 74 at the Pittsboro exit. Traffic in Brownsburg sucks.
