yeah sometimes the workers are so lazy that they give you the run around. like the other day i asked someone where the patches for screen doors were and they told me to go to paint... i went to the painting section and they sent me to hardware again... when i got back to hardware and i asked someone else the man simply said well we must not carry them and walked off. isnt that some wonderful customer service!!
This sounds like someone just trying to get an employee in trouble but you stuck your foot in your mouth because hardware and paint are in the same place stupid.

If you go in the daytime you will deal with people who know what they are doing because they are all old and have worked there forever. If you go on the weekends and at night, you will deal with a bunch of teenage girls who flirt with managers to get away with doing nothing or a bunch of young guys who hang out on the lawn mowers or in the parking lot on their cell phones. I have tried to get help numerous times in the evenings and they talk on their cellphones more than they work. I would love to have a job that pays me to talk to my baby all night.

My bff works there and has for a long time and she says that the manager stays in the office and only likes people who suck up to her and her assistant managers act like a bunch of 16 year olds. Chasing girls and not doing what they are supposed to.

I think the manager on the evening shift is nice. I don't know her name but she seems to be nice to everyone there.

I'm not sure what her name was but I went in there one day to find something to hook up my digital camera to my computer. She saved me some money by finding a cheaper alternative than what I was going to buy. On a different note one day I called whitesburg walmart to get a price on something and no one would answer the phone. I knew they were open and I let it ring for 30 seconds and tried multiple times but no one answered. Pissed me off

I think it is a good place to go . They have always helped me I asked. I think if some customers would be nicer then the employees would be a whole lot more helpful. I know several ppl that work there and they all help when asked unlike some Walmarts I know of.....Norton would
not even call to to check on an item for me at another walmart at least whitesburg will and even go get it for you if they can.

This happened to a friend's husband. He caught it before he walked away from the cashier so she corrected it. I have to admit I don't always
look at my receipt before I walk away from the register. I guess now I will. If this happens I think you need to have the manager come over to correct the "mistake".. That way the managers might see a pattern developing.

Just to alert everyone. My co worker went to Milford DE
Wal-Mart last week. She had her items rung up by the cashier. The cashier hurried her along and didn't give her a receipt. She asked the cashier for a receipt and the cashier was annoyed and gave it to her. My co worker didn't look at her receipt until later that night. The receipt showed that she asked for $20 cash back. SHE DID NOT ASK FOR CASH BACK. My co worker called Wal-Mart who investigated but could not see the cashier pocket the money. She then called her niece who works for the bank and her niece told her this. There is a scam going on. The cashier will ask for cash back and hand it to her friend who is the next person in line. Please, please check your receipts right away when using debit cards. The store has the cashier under investigation now. We can only pray that she is caught very soon.

My husband and I were in Wal-Mart
North Salisbury and paying with credit card when my husband went to sign the credit card signer he just happen to notice there was a $20 cash back added. He told the cashier that he did not ask nor want cash back and she said this machine has been messing up and she canceled it. We really didn't think anything of it until we read this email. Please be aware. I do not know if this happens at Whitesburg Wal-Mart, but it don't hurt to watch out.

Gloria Kincer is a great help no matter what section it's going to come from. And Chase Adams' mom, I'm not sure of her name, but she's a real sweetheart. Both of them are very nice women.
