Algae and Hemp and Ethanol are put together b/c they are Biofuels ... though so is Switchgrass, but that's Bush 2's idea, so it's going to lose, even though it's #1... but I guess, it would be the same as the other Biofuels... so the votes would be added together on that. Wood is used as a heat source during the Winter, so that's one energy source, and there could be other ideas that come along further... so the above list is not exhaustive.

And Solar Power will go on forever... if we can harness that energy source, all others won't matter. And to think that Reagan too the solar panels off the White House... w/ a jerk !

Windmills and dams of course. Solar power is cheap. There is natural gas, nuclear energy (although nuclear is out nowadays), and of course biofuels. Why doesn't the government use any of these? Coz they get rich off of oil that's why. There's no money in other stuff coz its cheap and natural

Lots of opportunities here... Coal Companies, before they leave KY, should invest in alternative sources of energy... keep the jobs here... they've stolen nearly all of the coal we got left...

Yep... scientific thinkers... yeah, those are the guys we need to worry about... unlike morons who only call people names, those people we keep, and those who can dream of a better world, and create and invent things, let's ostracize them... yeah, I'm sure your civilization will go far w/ that kind of mentality.

but think about the windmills and the solar panels and any thing else that produces electrical energy, if its used as an alternate fuel where will the energy be stored. In batteries? whats in batteries? acid and LEAD..how long is it gonna be before lead is "banned"? the way i understand it lead is allready on its way out. if we go to that type of energy will they NOT ban it like they have coal?

No way... if it's dirty, and polluting others... energy is energy however you can get it... but there's clean energy... u just gotta believe... and keep ur mind open. Sounds ur saying "Coal works... so let's stop thinking about it." No... this conversation is important ... fossil fuels are supposed to end in my lifetime, and I see the US not slowing down one bit... even if we are destroying the planet.

what exactly is "clean energy"? not trying to sound smart assed or anything,,,I really would like to know. Every kind of energy out there that i know of uses at least one product in the process that has "been known to cause cancer in laboratory rats". let the lights go out at the white house and see how quick they throw another lump on the fire.

I hate stupid people. Glad I made this post though... if yall aint gossiping about other folks, u aint got nothing to say. It takes 10,000 folks to study something before a scientific breakthru is made... and yall aint got no plans... u dependent on Coal Inc. U dont know unions... solidarity... or really, anything else.
