me and my family are thinking about living in rothbury as we visited a few months back and we fell in love with the lovely village.
Dispite all the recent media madness, we love the place.
i just wanted to ask the locals, what the weather is like particularly in the winter, how often does the village get flooded etc.
just wanted to hear from people who live in Rothbury what it is like to live there?

would be happy to sell you my home on 5and1/2 acres between rothbury and new era. winters aren't bad, I moved here from anchorage and its mild by comparison. you will need a snow thrower unless you like to shovel a lot. it only gets down in the teens for a short time. there are deer here, turkeys, many species of birds, i'm listening to coyotes now (10:20p). the beach is nearby and most of the roads are the old 2 lane blacktop. i'm surrounded by cornfields and hayfields, its beautiful, bye now,k
