2nd Snow Day of the Week!

For many this morning, it's the second day of staying home from school or work due to snowy weather.

I can't believe Grand Haven and Spring Lake still have school "ON"... it is so nasty outside here!!!!!!

I wouldn't even send my kid to school if the schools were opened!!! Thats BS! Same with WMU on Tues... everything but that closed... I wasn't risking my life for one class!

I was shocked to see Kenowa closed since Coopersville is still open. We have school of choice so the buses are going to have a fun time driving on the roads by our house! Be careful!! I don't even think the plows made it here yesterday let alone today!

Just got back home from driving my daughter to school... 50 min. round trip... way to go Spring Lake Schools!

Wow.. I can't believe WMU was open on Tue. I just took my daughter to school... slow, slow driving... and I hope all the jerks that tail gated me are in a ditch somewhere.

We're closed too. I sure wish someone would make it a law that, if your childrens' school is closed, you don't have to report to work. I hate leaving them home!

I don't have a child in school, but I would agree that I would not let my child go to school. I really think it would be unsafe. Poor kids anyway its to COLD!!!

Wow, can't believe all the local schools are open here. I can home late last night from work and it was NASTY! Couldn't see the lanes on the roads, couldn't get any traction to go/stop. Probably got 5-6 inches overnight and now the wind has kicked up here and it is white out conditions on/off. I worry about kids standing along side the road waiting for the bus, not to mention everyone being on the roads to get to school.

oh, and it took me an hour to get here instead of 30 min...I work at a lakeshore school!

Not whimps,Just mothers that care about there kids. better be safe than sorry . i dont have kids at home anymore ,but if I did they wouldnt be going today

If everyone are a bunch a wimps regarding the snow, you should move to the South, where they close on the threat of snow.

Putting my child at risk because of OTHER drivers isn't worth their life. It's a day of school, so what if they miss it.

LOVE THE SNOW... however over 140 schools are closed and Grand Haven and Spring Lake are open... dah... we are by the lake, both schools should be closed!!!
