1 Pretty good generalization of law enforcement. Except for the fact that you are doing the same thing you are criticizing the officers of. They portrayed the stereotypical kid who skips school and becomes involved in a life of crime, your argument is that all cops are uneducated and jump to conclusions. Before complaining about how they labeled these kids think about how you label law enforcement (the same way?). The fact that a child is truant, whether they skip class or are legitimately sick and just failed to provide an excuse, doesn't mean they will be a serial killer when they reach adulthood; however, studies show that delinquency early in childhood, specifically statute offenses such as drinking, smoking, and truancy, the earlier committed, the greater the odds that the individual will progress into higher forms of crime. See Juvenile Delinquency, Theory Practice and Law 9th ed. By Siegel Welsh and Senna. |
