day 10 now and still no power and an elderly neighbor trying to run his dialysis machine on generator. bad part is it would take less than an hr to fix. Just have one line that needs spliced back together. 5 times the power company has sent ppl up that looked at it and left. Said they would be back the next day to fix it and that was 2 days ago

Bitch, Bitch, Bitch. Those people are working very hard during this extreme heat to get your power back - and many of them are without power at their homes, too.

Just perhaps the people here are frustrated since the big dog was able to get the electric company right on his problem, while everyone else waits.

Cut them some slack. How would you feel if you were in the same circumstances?

I have spent more money than I want to think about because of Fat Bastard. Gas, ice, water, and all the food I lost. It has added up to a small fortune. I HAVE A FREAKING RIGHT TO BITCH! Damn the PGA...

I have a lot of respect for all those working on getting the power restored and dont have anything against them but its bad when the power company is up here five times already without doing a damn thing and everyone else up 92 already getting power back on. Its just very frustrating at times. Especially when it is such an easy fix just have one power line that needs spliced back together which would take less than an hr at the most.

Monday morning, day 10. Still no power. Very hard on the family. Kids wake up in a sweat. Went to Lowes yesterday and no more ice and water. They're some of us that still need help

I too have nothing but the utmost respect for the power company workers. These guys have been going full bore without a break for a week and a half now trying to get things restored.

We are only upset that JJ was able to use his power and influence to go to the front of the line - to get his first and to hell with everyone else. He admitted he got preferential treatment.

Even if it made no difference in the amount of time it has taken to restore power to our homes, the power should have been restored to necessary services: the hospitals, grocery stores, and gas stations - BEFORE JJ, the PGA, Greenbrier, the Fairgrounds got a single watt. I think we can all agree a golf tournament and the comfort of a few rich twats shouldn't trump everything else in time of emergency.

His "me first" attitude is what infuriates everyone - and with good reason.

If you can believe the rumors I heard was that the hospital when their generator broke called JJ and asked to borrow one of his so they would not have to evacuate patients and he flat out told them NO. If it is true then that is aweful. But what else can you expect from a crook like him.
