Stepfather arrested in death of 1-year-old boy

The stepfather of a 1-year-old Muhlenberg County, Ky., boy who died Monday at a Louisville, Ky., hospital has been charged with his death.

This is so sad! Just to think of the suffering that baby went through! Why do ppl not call out for help before they lay hands on children?! SAD, JUST SAD!

Well, I see that someone knows the mother, and she didn't do it. Someone knows the step-father, and he didn't do it. Regardless of what anyone thinks, we still have a dead baby, and he will never have the opportunity to know life, love, nor anything else. I don't give a damn who did it. I just want the guilty party found, tried, found guilty, and sentenced to death.

The mother was at work when it happened. There is proof that she was there.The child was with the step-father when it happened.

Were you shocked that he was arrested and he is being held without bond...I don't think they go around arresting people without solid proof. Maybe they're blaming him because he did it....

The mother might not have been the time of the accident, but she knew had Rolley was. He beat her multiple times and she was stupid enough to leave her kids alone with him. She is part to blame to. They both should have the book thrown at them.

The paper is wrong I know rolley we are friends I got a phone call right after it happened and she was home and they were both hitting each other and she somehow had the baby and moved the baby around and he hit the baby instead of the mother. After the baby was hit she took off wnd went to her mothers and then the baby was taken to the hospital.So I think both of them should spend life in jail.And thats from a friends point of a view.

She was at work supporting his lazy but when it happened. get your facts straight. Also the cops you are talking about are Central City cops. the crime rate in that city is alot worse than what it is Greenville. As a Greenville citizen you couldn't pay me to live in Central City. It's a nasty place. Tooooooo many crimes go unsolved or unnoticed there......Greenville police department deserved a pat on the back. they do their job and they do it well.

I was just wondering was you there when it happend or are you going by what someone else said.I talked to Rolley right after it happened if he inteninolly hurt that baby why would he go tyo the howspital why didn't he just run.Why would he be crying and ask wat he should do.Did you also know that before her and rolley got together that she had social services investaganting her for child abuse. So tell me where youi get yourt resources.

i fill sorry for the baby. but the mother is no the angel 1. a drug user 2. a liar 3. didn't even go to the funeral. 4 when the police go to talk to her she hides in the house hmmmmm ???? sounds fishy

As a friend of the Alversons and a neighbor, I am astounded at the comments made by narrow-minded idiots like some that have commented on this subject. This is a tragedy for all involved!!! I'm sure Danielle is no "angel", but she is not a baby killer. She loved her child with all her heart and is devastated about what has happened. The entire family is devastated and needs the community's compassion and prayers to get through this horrible time. You are in my prayers, Mike, Saundra, Danielle, Cassidy, Carson, and Nathan. No matter what he does for a living (big deal---coal miner---)he's still a piece of crap. The last time I checked it doesn't take much to be one of those. He is in jail for MURDER right? RIGHT!
