Well I am very concerned where the students were during this "bomb scare" apparently from what I understand they decided to locate the students to the football field. From what I understand there is Natural Gas lines ruuning along that area. Would not commen sense pose a question if in fact a bomb did detonate wouldnt the fire follow the gas lines onto the Football field? This is very concerning as a parent of a student that currently attends that school. I am going to get to the bottom of this....

You're a special kind of stupid. There's always that one that has no idea what they're talking about that is the first to complain. If Maybe they should have evacuated them to the middle of the by-pass. Would that make you happy? Moron!

What is moronic is to transport students from one school to the other because of a bomb threat. What if someone left a note at one school and intended to bomb the other school? What if they left a note inside the school and planned on doing something else outside the school? You can sure tell these people don't have a clue about real terrorism. At least that is my opinion. You read everyday in the paper about all these horrible things that are happening at schools. They need to at least have the forethought to send them home for the day until the coast is clear.

We can all "what if" the situation all day long. What if they left a note in the school but had a bomb planted on every vehicle, or at everyone's house? The fact of the matter is that the kids were safe and the student that did it is in jail.IInstead of you being happy for the outcome, now you want to nit-pick everything about it. The school staff and emergency personnel handled a chaotic situation with little time to prepare and were able to get to the bottom of it. I applaude them for that.

well we will hold our applause until we see how accurately it was handled. Last years bomb threat fiasco was handled so well that charges had to be dropped and the kid is walking free due to their errors. Hopefully with the KSP working it instead of the school board cigarette smoking cop wannabes we will get a different outcome. Stay tuned

The so called cigarette smoking wannabe cop did not handle the last one. It was the Greenville Police Department. Also that cop wannabe is a retired State Police Detective.

You can say that "after the outcome". Better to be safe than sorry and send those kids home. If I was a parent here I would take this to the school board meeting. Let the experts tell them what to do, and have a feeling you are not an expert.

What the heck does it matter if they smoke cigarettes? What does that have to do with their intelligence OR job performance.

First of all - if students and staff cannot smoke on school grounds then why should they be allowed to? Secondly if they want lung cancer that's their prerogative, but I feel my tax dollars are better spent if they are actually working instead of standing on the front sidewalk polluting the air.

Not sure what smoking has to do with any of this but since you seem to be so fixated on it you should know that only one of them smokes.

My fixation is that it shouldnt be allowed and that it looks trashy. How could anyone not know which one smokes since he's camped up at the front door blowing smoke in your face every time you try to enter? They are jokes. Just ask your "real" county law enforcement officials. Overpaid, underworked, badge-carrying jokes. That's the real issue. The smoking is just an annoyance.
