Pennsylvania is a huge prison for profit common wealth. Remember the Luzerne County Judge Mark A. Ciavarella Jr.
This is exactly where this thing is going. American prisons are being privatized and the inmates are put to work for their new owners. Making less than $1.50 a day making an astonishing array of products that are sold into the American market, to take market share and help drive down the wages of honest labor.
High occupancy is achieved by an army of lobbyists and campaign contributions, to assure ever more draconian prison sentences for non-violent and even minor offenses. When that fails, judges are bribed to keep the cells full.

Cant do the time? Dont do the crime. Is it that hard to follow the laws on the book? Dont give a shlt if you agree with them or not. Its the law. Gee. Not a hard concept.

Bet you'd sell out your Mom, have your relatives framed, & snitch on your children, just to swell the prison ranks.
Do you own stock in dungeons or something?
