------ add something about blood thinners in nursing home and blood tests. I forgot to and it may become something else very important.-

Please help - it seems all anyone want to hear about is the heart issue as it relates to VIOXX - I have been devastated by the problem it creates with bone repair. Several of my major operations have failed on VIOXX because of inadequate bone repair. Pre-VIOXX operations were 100% successful; POST VIOXX (I took all the time it was on the market) failed and caused many years of misery and now leave a quite uncertain future.

Thank You,

Sincerely - Dennis Harrison

p.s.- the info is long, but please at least try to skim through it and you will see that I am a genuine, sincere person. I have cut and paste it plus attached it as a WORD document if you prefer that.

VIOXX, as a COX-2 medication, ruined several of my spine and bone operations. I had several spine and bone operations succeeding 100% BEFORE VIOXX. VIOXX, there were more operations depending on bone to heal correctly - all three failed because of inadequate (and almost non-existent) bone repair. I have Doctor notes (two different Doctors, two different operations) that indicate failure due to the bone repair problems -(the Doctors, nor anyone of a LOT of people involved in my care); knew about the COX-2/bone repair issues. By the way, Merck was warned by many independent studies of the "compelling evidence", and even their own paid consultant stated "the time has to tell the people" - Merck even ignored him. There were absolutely no warnings on any of the labeling or inserts of this dangerous drug. Merck did not want to lose more time addressing this problem as the FDA had approved Celebrex (already selling) and Merck may have ceded the market to Celebrex (which is also Cox-2, but not as potent and thus still destructive, but not as much).

This case can HELP some-one with the heart cases as it shows CONSISTENCY of INTENT - basically the same or similar tactics for the bone issues were used in the heart problems. Please review what I have to say below carefully - and not just readily discard it because it is not a direct "heart" case.(However, I do get a LOT of chest pains - usually smack in the middle of where my heart is and sometimes down my arm) and am going to see a heart Dr.- I pray that I do not also have heart issues, money is just not worth your health - however if I have been damaged through deceit and greed, I would need it to get by my remaining years (I am only 53, and used to make $120,000 a year 6-7 years ago in a near executive type of position)) Lastly here, when I was in the nursing home - after two failed leg repair operations, I was given a blood thinner as blood test results indicated that my blood was too thick and that I had 3-4 more times chance of coronary problems; though no-one connected it with VIOXX . Another question - what does the future hold for me, I took it for 5 years, it did ruin several major operations and I am still impacted from that - but what of the potential (if not current) heart issues - am I now at a higher risk?

Thank You
