Freeland, Luzerne County-- Reality T.V Star Kate Gosselin told Eyewitness News that she came to Freeland to tell the truth...Gosselin appeared before District Judge Gerald Feussner on Wednesday to answer to a civil complaint filed against her by Creative Energy Options in White Haven. Its owner Dr. Sylvia Lafair testitied that Gosselin called her in March of 2009 for marriage counseling services for her and her husband Jon. The two came to fame after their cable t.v show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. Lafari said that Gosslin told her to fix her husband that he had serious problems, including irrational behavior and to do whatever it takes. Dr. Lafair said she told Gosselin, I don't do that I help families not just husbands or wives. Gosselin says she made no agreement to pay for services to fly Los Angeles because she had her own counselor, Dr. Phil McGraw form the t.v. show, "Dr. Phil." She testified that their marriage was already over that this was about how to handle a very public divorce without harming their children. Lafair said Gosselin owes her company just over $10,000. Kate Gosselin told this reporter after the hearing, "I came hear to tell the truth,hopefully the judge will make the right decision." Dr Lafair told Eyewitness News, "I think people should be honest I dropped everything to go to L.A. I would not have done that unless Kate asked me to." Judge Feussner has 5 days to make a ruling as to whether or not Kate Gosselin owes the White Haven company more than $10,000. If he rules aganist Gosselin, she can appeal to Luzerne Couty Court.
