People with guns kill people.

Sounds like another case of good girl with bad boy gone wrong. May she rest in peace and sending up prayers for the little boy left behind.

Are we just assuming murder-suicide or does the evidence point to it? Or do you have no clue so you are just throwing the easy solution out there?

FBI Reports Huge Decrease in Murders as Gun Sales Soar
12/31/09

Last week, the FBI issued its preliminary 2009 crime report, showing that the number of murders in the first half of 2009 decreased 10 percent compared to the first half of 2008. If the trend holds for the remainder of 2009, it will be the single greatest one-year decrease in the number of murders since at least 1960, the earliest year for which national data are available through the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Also, the per capita murder rate for 2009 will be 51 percent lower than the all-time high recorded in 1991, and it will be the lowest rate since 1963—a 46-year low. Final figures for 2009 will be released by the FBI next year.

According to gun control supporter dogma—“more guns means more crime”—the number of privately owned firearms must have decreased 10 percent in 2009. To the contrary, however, the number rose between 1.5 and 2 percent, to an all-time high. For the better part of the last 15 months, firearms, ammunition, and “large” ammunition magazines have been sold in what appear to be record quantities. And, the firearms that were most commonly purchased in 2009 are those that gun control supporters most want to be banned—AR-15s, similar semi-automatic rifles, and handguns designed for defense. The National Shooting Sports Foundation already estimates record ammunition sales in 2009, dominated by .223 Remington, 7.62x39mm, 9mm and other calibers widely favored for defensive purposes.

Do any of you who are assuming what happened here ( good girl, bad guy / money problems) know these people, or are you just publicly stating your uneducated opinions!!! Stay out of it if you don't have anything constructive to say, you don't know what happened!

You don't know what really happened. Both were very nice and they loved their child very much!

There is much more to this story, so please wait until the investigation is finished before you rush to judgement.

Please pray for this family.

Tattoos are for scum, not God fearing folks. Minnesota doesn't need that kind of business or those kinds of people. Tattoo parlours are the same categories as pawnshops and motor cycle gangs. White Bear Lake should be more discerning of the types of business they let in their fare city.

Many things can sound like muffled gun shots. Loud video games, a car backfiring...
Don't blame the neighbor for not calling the police.

One of them might have been a nice person but the one that did the shooting was not a nice person. Killers=Not Nice. The shooter also left his child without any parents. I don't see how he loved his child very much to do something like this.

Why don't you go take your stupid opinion and shove it up your you know what you freak. Maybe you could pull your head out for a minute and step into the millennium and see that tats are not just for bikers and hell raisers. I know people that are covered in tats that I'm sure from your dumbass comments make a ton of cash and do a lot of good things for the community. Wht don't you go to your local fire house and see how many of the local fire fighters have tattoos. If you had a fire in your home would you not let them put it out if they had a tattoo??? I knew Mike and he seemd to be a great person. Yes I have had several tats done from Mitzy. The foucus point to this should be what really happended at there home that result in there deaths. At this point this is all speculation as to what took place. In stead of ripping on them say a prayer for them and ther son and there family and close freinds!!!!

Excuse me. I am a Christian with a strong faith and I also happen to have tattoos. I have friends with good paying jobs, families that are strong in their faith, and, oh my, they also have tattoos!!! A true Christian does not judge someone by whether they have tattoos, piercings, clothes we don't approve of, etc. Glad I don't know you.

tattootradegy - Dont feed the trolls...I have a tatoo so I guess Im a "crack head" according to some people...but I pay my mortgage, have a full time job, and a great family...i could care less what these people think of me.

My concern is what really happened...I live in the area so obviously its a concern if this is a random attack, a murder suicide or someone that knew them shot them...

To me it sounds like the police dont know either...which makes me believe that this is not a murder suicide... I guess as a father I couldn't fathom doing something to leave my child in the predicament this child is in. Horrible tragedy...my prayers are with the family and that little boy.

So much for the Golden Rule, perhaps you should practice what you preach, and start actually being a Christian instead of being a judgmental simpleton.
