Since WTOV has many time the viewers that WTRF has for its news, having slowly but surely over the past 30 years or so developing a quality product, what can WTRF do to regain its news dominance, or has that ship sailed? I'm old enough to remember that Channel 7 was the 800 lb. gorilla in the room. Surely, since Bray Cary offers three of the top networks, he should be making money, and some of that going to rebuilding its news presence. On the other hand, WTOV has NBC, which is probably the fifth-placed network in at least one important demographic, with MeTV as its only subchannel. Is this just another example of 'bean-counter' broadcasting?
