Did you thoroughly investigate the father the way you did the mother?

i sure hope she is safe. this just sounds fishy, I dont believe the mother. from what ive read, court documents are showing the mother has been in contempt time after time. The father wouldnt have won custody. each entry where she accuses him or tries to prevent him from seeing the baby (and his mother apparently- grand parents right) the court punishes her and give her things to do. she never completes them, then files something new the next time she get a visitation. Jaelyn went back for summer visitation, only 6 or 8 weeks, and its now Decemeber. The docket also says shes done this before. She had "proof" then. Not only did she loose, but her lawyer "dropped" her right after (maria something), then the most recent lawyer dropped her when she refused to give jaelyns whereabouts.
I've done the research, i'd like to see jaelyn alive. from the stunts mom's pulled in the past, i wouldnt be surprised if no one ever sees this little girl again.

I looked up court records. My conclusion is: An ongoing battle for this child since she was born all initiated by Grandmother. Judge Crow granted custody, I know for a fact it doesn't matter if the father was Father of the Year or Complete Scum Bucket of the Year Crow would award the child to the Father. No Woman (no matter how good) has a chance in His court. (Maria Hoover did this and this family was not the only one affected by Crows decisions that year.) I wonder about that fathers intentions for this child. He wasn't the fighter for this child his mom was. I would have relocated to be a part of my childs life. Who really knows the truth behind this story. Each are left to draw his own conclusions. I don't know either parent but I know what the records have shown me. It is a shame people will use children for their own sense of Control and Power.

What? I read the court records and got the opposite.
You must have not read all four. The father has fought for this child for four years. How can you say he is not the one fighting? Also says he was a marine,(why he was out of state) and also says he got custody when she was two.
I would move out of this town if I could. Theres no jobs here but fast food and low wages. Jobs here are a joke in the big city.
He moved away with her most likely to support his family. I'm sure being away and overseas, he saw much more and wanted more from life. More than what this town has to offer.
Look at our drug infested town? Our cops are crooked and so are most of our citizens.
Im glad this little girl will have a chance to have a good stable life. Shes obviously not haveing one here. Her Mom hasn't even got out oof the house yet and shes just getting a free ride in jail were all paying or.. If you look at all four dockets online, you'll see that Cherish was given many chances to cooperate and be nice. She files such ridiculous and outrageous charges one after the other.
That judge was appointed by the Supreme Court of Ohio. he was sent to clean up this town, so you shouldn't bash him.
Cherish lost her kid for a reason. He didn't just "give" Steven custody. He gave her opportunity after opportunity.
This town is so crooked they needed someone else to come in. Cherish keeps appealing his decisions and even tried to have him removed and each appeal was denied. All the judges on the Appeals court and his educated experienced judge was agreed.
Sure hope Jaelyn is okay and found soon.

Yep - you are right - I too know what the records have shown me - and that is that the father has custody - not the mother.
It also shows me that the mother has been in contempt on more than one occasion, and the judge is FED UP with her tricks. That is why she is in jail.
It also shows me that the Supreme Court is fed up too - basically told her she was abusing the court system in her last filing.
And now there is a sibling of the mother with a warrant for her arrest.
The facts are showing me that this family has no respect for the law and judicial system and do what the heck they want - no matter what the consequences. I mean - you have a child sitting in jail, another with a warrant for her arrest, a grandchild on the run, and another grandchild not being raised by EITHER parent (of course that Mexican doesn't even know he's the father).
This family belonged to a church that was being investigated as a CULT. Look at what these cults do with their women --- is that why there is such a fight for this precious baby girl? For future use? If that is true - OMG - that poor child.
It is no secret that the parents of the two older children take them to bars and drinking parties and promote being promiscuous (of course that's kinda obvious with two children born out of wedlock)- and they were not of legal age.
So who wants facts? Here's some to chew on.

If Jaelyn can remember this in her later years, she could tell you she probably knows more about the insides of a courthouse than the average person - because she has been in one and around one since she was born - THANKS TO HER SO -- CALLED MOTHER.

What do you think of a mother who will leave Jaelyn in a house where the grandmother has pulled a gun on the grandfather? Took her second illegitimate child out of the home, but left Jaelyn there - IS THAT A MOTHER? NO NO NO

As far as the family hiding the child out, I'm not saying that her family hiding the child is right. But, some of your comments offend me. Such as:

I wasn't married when I had my children, but that doesn't make me a bad mother, a whore or slut, and i didn't go bar hopping, either. You should choose your comments more carefully about certain things.

As far as thanking the father?????? All he did was try to take responsibility and take care of HIS child - the child that the mother and her family was trying to keep him from. And to blame HIS mother is ridiculous - all she was doing was getting her rights as a grandparent. They are doing the same thing to the second child. They haven't even told the REAL father that he is the father - AND THEY ALL KNOW WHO HE IS.

I don't know about all the fact bashing, I am just a bystander. However, I am shocked that this little girl hasn't been found yet! Apparently law enforcement agencies are just as tired of dealing with these families as the court systems are. I hope she is safe, warm and enjoying Christmas no matter where she is. Appears to me the are sick of Cherish Lewis. All her false allegations, constant filings, constant non-fonded abuse charges. Geez, this woman is out of her mind. Someone needs to find this child and bring her in. Cherish apparently had the chance to hand the child over a few weeks ago. If she did, Cherish would be released (back to her new born) and Jaelyn would be turned over to protective government care to be evaluated to see who the real abuser is. She would stay there for a month, there would be court.
Cherish did NOT comply. She didnt turn the child in and now is in contempt with the APPEALS COURT.
She has really cooked her goose.
But why didn't she turn Jaelyn in? IS SHE EVEN ALIVE? The sounds too much like Casey Anthony.

i think the easy way to find out where the girl is at is water board the mother and get this over with i hope the mother never gets to see the kid again. shes a disgrace to everyone who has went the legal road to get custidy of there children.

Shouldn't he have known better than to have unprotected sex?

I hate to take sides in cases like these because there is always 3 sides to the story. His, Hers, and the truth...
However, I'm not sure what I would do if I thought my child was being abused and the court systems told me that I had to return her anyway. Especially if I was a young mother who didn't have enough money for a good attorney, or enough knowledge to know how to make the system work to protect my child.
But if I were in jail and had someone else on the run with my child, I think I would be worried sick about their whereabouts and safety.
I would be on pins and needles worrying about all the things that could go wrong that might endanger my child even more so than the abuse I was trying to save her from in the first place.
I just pray that she is safe and enjoying Christmas no matter where she is!

You said if you were in jail and someone was on the run you be worried sick. I agree - I would be too.

But you need to remember - it is the Lewis family who is involved in hiding Jaelyn. So, no - the mother is not going to be worried - she knows her family is doing it and is with her.

It's funny (well not really funny), but Cherish had this child around a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER before she went to jail. She was driving his car, was going to the store with him - and guess what ??? She had Jaelyn with them.

So if you are trying to save someone from being around the alleged abuse, then why would you purposely put that child around another person who is a registered sex offender? Does it make sense to you? It doesn't to me.
