Why have your CCW and carry a gun that's NOT loaded? Wouldn't that totally defeat the purpose? How does any of what you've "read" sound like a motive? People on here are running their mouths about sh*t that doesn't even concern them! I know the Staker family and none of what is being said about them is true.
Ok. Now i am a member of the Soldiers, i have know Steve for the past 30 years and he would never point a gun at someone. Just because the Staples are rich and the Building r not, that staked boy meant to kill or he wouldn't have pulled the trigger 5 times that is NOT self defense its just played i m MURDER!!!!!!!!!

God have mercy on all the souls involved, it breaks my heart to think about the 3 little boys and a wife who are without a husband and a father. It breaks my heart that a young man was put into a situation that he felt that his life was threatened enough to kill another man. I can not imagine how is not incarcerated at the moment.
Lets bump this to the top again.
So sorry

Does anyone know what city, county, state and local organizations have business contracts with stakers?

They need to be made aware of the type of business practices they are supporting.

These contracts may have been breached and if so absolutely all business dealings should be stopped immediately.

Please help identify who has large business contracts with the staker family business.

Who wants to go to a park who continues to support stakers family business?

Who wants to see their kids playing on sports and recreational fields cut with equipment purchased from stakers after this incident?

It is illegal to harass someone over the phone for payment due. I am sure it is illegal to go over to someone's house, harass them for an hour and a half then shoot them dead.

Remorse does not imply guilt, so wonder why the Stakers have none? Pretty arrogant, huh?

they were the ones that approached the guys house in order to repo, and the second they started being disorderly by beating on the mans windows, doors, and a/c unit the repo was no longer legal, there fore the 2 men were trespassing at that point and time. they were the ones out to repo why didn't they call the police and have the police to assist, maybe because they were out to harm or kill this man, both sides made some mistakes, but reguardless on why didn't this family call the police, the man was killed in cold blood over a lawnmower ,use common sense they man didn't not deserve to die at his home in front of his family, not only did he ruin the life of one, he also ruined the lives of the 3 kids. but i don't expect the killers supporters to comprehend this when it's a struggle for them to comprehend the law.
Maybe I'm the only man in Scioto County who places the safety of my family above all else.

If ANYone starts beating on MY door at night for ANY reason, it's NOT going to go on for over an HOUR and end with my hot head going to the door with a gun, resulting in a SHOOOTING of ANYone.

I'm calling the POLICE to end the situation, so my family can get some peace, my wife will keep her husband, and my children will still have a father.

CALL the POLICE.

I am not claiming that the PDT report was accurate. I think both sides could easily give inaccurate accounts to make them guilty or innocent. I am sure the widow will say that he never pointed the gun at Staker. Whether he did or not I can not say. I think the Stakers were way out of line in their methods but that does not make it a murder.
Holsinger should have called the police or walked out to talk to them without a gun long before one hour after they got there. I have no problem with people carrying a gun ehen they do work like repossession, but they should have the sense to not have to use the gun if it can be avoided in any way and it could have in this case.
As for the Stakers money, they can afford a better attorney than most but that does not always equal an acquittal. Just because he has not been arrested does not mean he will not mean before the investigation is over. They must investigate before charges can be filed, that is standard procedure and the only way to get convictions in court.
where in the world can you shoot someone 5 TIMES and KILL them and own up to it and not be arrested on the spot how is this family gonna pay all the expenses of this if they couldnt pay $700 .I think the STAKERS should pay it

If I'm not mistaken the only other choice we have for sheriff is the ex-police Chief, Horner. I don't think we'd be any better with him than Donini. What a shame that our choices boils down to this. If the victim did have an agreement to return the part on Friday, then he should have done so, but it is ridiculous that the Stakers would spend that much time harrassing this family. Both sides should have called the authorities instead of both sides having guns available to use when probably both sides were in a very irritated state. Totally ridiculous that a father of 3 who was attempting to make a living by cutting grass and with the weather we've had probably wasn't getting much business. He and the Stakers should both have worked something out for payment rather than go to this extreme. Of course hindsite is always better than foresite.

Robun needs to stop posting! Are you six years old? Your grammar is simply dreadful and I suggest going back to school before posting online.

By the way, I suggest learning the difference between 'no' and 'know'.

Why in the world would a business owner show up at a persons house at 10:30 pm at night WITH a gun!,, C'mon people!!! They should have called the sherriff and done it the right way! A man deserves to lose his life over a lawn mower??!!! Some professional business owner! Id like to get a lawn mower off them and let them show up at my house! They were there for over an hour beating on doors and windows and yelling come out chicken!! This isnt the first time theyve been involved in going to someones house to collect money!!! The last time he (stakers guy) got HIS hand shot! Maybe they should have killed HIM then and this wouldnt be happening! They think they are bullies and rich grandpa can get them out of everything!!! Two little kids and his step son have no Daddy now!!! And a wife who loved her husband dearly has no husband! Justice better be served to little Mr.Tyler!!!!!!
