2 Every candidate that is winning will have mud thrown at them. What you call scandals are nothing more than attempts to blame Obama for issues that other people are responsible for and in charge of. He didn't do them. The worst of his own doings as far as the "scandals" go is when he used the words "bitter" and "cling". They weren't exactly scandals. He used a poor choice of words and clarified them. That's not a scandal, like the Keating 5. |

2 Ahhhhh...an Obama troll going thread to thread....Excellent. Can you tell me what your feelings are about Obama's support of his cousin Raila Odinga's attempt in Kenya to change that government from a Christianity based to a Sharia Law Islamic based government? Though he lost resoundingly, Odinga instigated violence throughout the region to attempt to disrupt the duly elected government. Is this the "change" you are referring too? Do these actions adequately represent what a potential President should stand for? |

1 So, no answer? Another no answer? Wright, Sinclair, Odinga, Young, his racist views, his wife...the list is endless, and absolutely no reply except to anonymously judege the question? Now that shows character LOL |

1 The answer to all your rambling questions is "Yes, we would vote for Obama, even with the attempts everyone makes to try and incite fear of him by pointing out the flaws in any of his supporters." For that matter, Rod Parsley and John Hagee preach hatred, intolerance, obedience to them and seek the money of hard working people to do so. McCain is running to them to embrace them along with George Bush, the worst president in modern history. You're willing to support a man like that? You have to sheep in a flock of backwards hicks to do that. |

1 I don't think topix gives us enough space in one post to list Clinton's true scandals. Enough said. |

Cheney is not nor has not run for President. That's a deflection, not a relevant comparison. I dare say Cheney wouldn't win either. |

1 Again, you attempt deflection without answering the question, then resort to the tired name calling. To attempt to compare Obama's 20 years of racial indoctrination of hatred under the tutelage of Jeremiah Wright to McCain's 10 days of photo ops with John Hagee to secure evangelicals is not only blatantly misleading, it's a travesty of the truth. Is John McCain the best candidate for President? No, he isn't. His support of illegal aliens to appease Big Business is unsatisfactory. But he is still a far better selection than Obama. The people's respect and trust for Obama has been uprooted, as seen in recent elections, and that suspicion is well earned. It will only get worse as more facts come out. |

1 Hillary Clinton is not a nice person. Comparing scandals is hardly the marker that Democrats should consider when choosing there nominee. I really don't see how you can compare swindling land deals to supporting Sharia Law though. I don't see how you can compare blowjobs to overt hatred of America and Whites specifically, as stated in the "Audacity of Hope". Fosters murder will be cancelled out by Young's murder in the scandal sweepstakes, I suppose. |

1 Are we selecting a candidate for the US of A or the US of Israel. Those TV talking heads wail on about Israel - the jewish voters - won't be voting for Obama. I clearly undestand their reasoning. The chaos perpertrated by our Zionist Prez was exquisitely engineered to suit the ME homeland - it seves to bury those Palestinians - and to create a greater Israel. Sheep, Wake up! Obama presidency would help restore the prestige that the US of Israel president lost to us. This exiting Zionist claims 300 million of us for the statelet that we planted sixty years ago. The source of our spiralling demise since. Waterboarding fruit cakes for Zion. Lieberman, McCain's handler, thrilled beyond belief at the Obama smearing that suits the grand plan of our Masters. How dumb can we be - we'll get what we deserve. |

I AM thinking of the economy AND healthcare...and that is exactly why I will NOT vote for Hillary. As far as Obama bringing this nation 'change'... what change? How will it be better? What exactly is it he will change? No DECENT person will run for prez because he/she will just be a puppet for the people who really run our govt. The democrats have brought out the worst of the worst. |

1 Good Call I’ve begun to wonder how much worse it can get? Give me a candidate who’ll speak for the people and not for the corporate elite and we’ll be well-on-the-way to a healthcare system – as opposed to a healthcare industry. Obama has the best plan for the most American’s; McCain, having enjoyed “socialized healthcare” his entire life, is more than willing to continue denying it to follow Americans. Give me a candidate who’ll return respect to our nation – as we’ve apparently taken on the world (and are losing). A candidate who’ll communicate with the world – not just “his friends.” Another 4 / 8 years of the same with “McSame” and there will be little left of America. Were already like the carcass of an elephant, being picked and torn apart by those we’ve protected for decades. It’s time we made friends (real friends) and began living within our means and by our wits – as opposed to stripping the last of our dwindling resources and attempting to take the rest by force. Barack Obama in a necessary change and will bring the balance we need to survive – otherwise the pendulum will have swung so far to the right it will come around to hammer us from other side! No Spam -- I live in Oregon (Topix) and have just voted for Obama – as I look forward to doing so again come November! |

1 VOTE HILLARY CLINTON 2008! Obama is subtle, but he still comes off with playing the race card by bringing it up and then claiming he isn't playing the race card. In today's news, we have this statement: "So rather than an abstract set of questions about,'Is he too liberal, is he too conservative, how do voters handle an African American, et cetera,' I think this is going to be a very concrete contest around very specific plans for how we improve the lives of Americans and our vision for the future," he said. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080510/ap_on_el_ ... Ironically, the question never entered my head "How do voters handle an African American" because most of us Americans can rise above the racist nonsense, that is up to the time he brings it up again, which he just did. And how about being simply an American. What's with the African-American label. Is it not enough to simply be American in the year 2008? Is there some current loyalty to Africa in this day and age? Must the rest of also hyphenate our Country of Ancestral Origin? Irish-American? German-American? British-American? Italian-American (and the list goes on and on.) |

1 In Oregon, I care, and voted. From “Kentucky,” I suspect “Jack’s” is a Republican Shill. Remember follow O’s – it’s too late to mail them, so haul your ballots to the nearest drop box. And don’t fall for malicious bologna like Jacks … though he has me wondering if the pay’s good? |

1 Please find out more about her positions at HillaryClinton.com , which includes information about her Oregon Compact, which Obama, in recent days, has copied! You can also catch Bill Clinton or Chelsea Clinton at an Oregon event in the next couple of days. Hillary Clinton is brilliant, tireless and deeply caring - she has a gift for translating people's needs into policies that really help them. Her campaign has been one that addresses the concerns of everyone in this country not just select voting blocs shes hopes will win her the nomination. Why couldn't Senator Obama take out the time to talk to West Virginians or Kentuckians? Or debate Clinton about the issues that matter most to Oregonians? Senator Obama may be a "shining star" but he seems to do best under the spotlights and cheered on by adoring crowds. Can we really be sure that there is enough substance under all the spectacle? As Hillary Clinton has said, what happens when the lights are turned off? Thank you very much for considering Senator Clinton before casting your ballot... |
