N.J. prosecutors' association asks Supreme Court for high bails for illegal immigrants

There are 5 comments on the www.nj.com story from Mar 29, 2009, titled N.J. prosecutors' association asks Supreme Court for high bails for illegal immigrants. In it, www.nj.com reports that:

New Jersey's county prosecutors' association has entered the fray over whether bails for illegal immigrants suspected in local crimes should be significantly raised to prevent federal officials from deporting them before their cases can be heard in local courts.

A good move by that judge.Catch and release no longer works.

If we took illegal immigrants out of our regular prisons, we would have a few facilities JUST FOR THEM. Then, I'm all for hiking up the "bail". It burns my ass that these low-life are put into the same penal system that the tax-payers pay for to hold our citizens who break our laws. We also should start charging their Countries for all the housing, legal work, and interpreters, that they require (which is now at OUR expense).

It's time we did things which are in the best interest of this Country's citizens.

Why doesn't NJ just give illegals to Tony's Trash service?

I believe this is in response to the Honduran sex offender ICE deported before he was tried. He really hurt a little girl. How is that injustice explained to her when she's old enough to understand? He'll be back, they always return.

This really shows how the illegals and their supporters are self centered and lawless. Liberty and justice for all is served when people are given a sentence to fit the crime.
